thanks, job----> teacher (Dutch for French speaking, pupils are 12-13 year old) i'll do that 10 hours/week, if that works out well, i might search some more hours (22 = fulltime)
i also applied for illustration for little ones for a school magazine, i'll have news of it in a month or two. (they have 'illustration gatherings' they wrote me, and my neighbour's best friend knows the boss, she said she'd call him)

today was first day at school, i have two classes, one of 12 pupils and one of 25 (2 hours with the 25, and 2 with half this class)

i felt like a 'fish in the sea' , it was so nice to know what to do, there is even a bell ringing the hours, and they gave me a schedule, ow i so love schedules

Skeeterhawk, that sentence rings clear as a bell! I desparately depend on interpretations of what is going on around me. I can misinterpret and miss the real meaning so easily that a deliberate lie from someone else will crush me utterly, because I get my self esteem and satisfaction for being a human being from my ability to correctly interpret those situations.
I think that is why my 'ego' is so unreasoning to let go of ineffective or incomplete conclusions I have drawn, not so I can be 'right' (and hence everyone fall in line with my reasoning) but that I have actually gotten one right and correctly investigated and diagnosed the issue.


whew. maybe that is just a rationalization or a justification or perhaps I am in complete denial, but sometimes, some how. . .I just want to figure it out correctly. I am so gullible because it doesn't occur to me that people are lying, or it does but they are not.
either way, I got it wrong - again and I want to huddle under the covers and eat ice cream till I pop.

I hovered at the 52 level - for half an hour or so...

Skeeterhawk and Merle...You describe it quit well...it's like having reality turned up-side down,falling though the rabbit hole and having some one pull the rug from beneath your feet...all rolled into one. I start feeling like I am going insane and if , "what people say" isn't real, then what can I believe is real. It makes me dizzy and then it makes me mad. I had several bosses lie to me over the past two years and staff laugh at me when I said..."but, so and so said, such and such". It makes life a very unlevel playing field when 90% of the people get to cheat you of your right to a consistant reality. They add insult to injury by thinking it is funny to deceive...(funny as taking away a blind persons cane and pointing them towards a cliff.)


Sorry about the weather Blessedmom...it missed us by 200 miles and was still to close for comfort...it's spring dang it.(not going to convince people of global warming if they have to get out their parkas in April.)

Nan...I don't just look guilty when I am accused I actually feel guilty and second guess my reality...did I do something and forget...do I have MPD? That this seems more possible then that someone would lie to me or wrongly accuse me. I have had my moments of doubt about my sanity when accused of something I am "pretty sure" I didn't do. I wonder where that guilt comes from...and not trusting your own reality? Do you think it was from being punished for things that I didn't do when I was a kid?

i do love the expression, especially the sound of it, and the kind of people using this expression, so funny !

On the subject of lying, I have a zero-tolerance policy for people who lie to me and for myself. I don't like it for the same reasons as Krex, Merle and Skeeterhawk. I also feel when I am lied to that I have had my intelligence insulted in the worst way. I take it very personally. And I feel I am treating a person the same way if I lie to them. When my first husband was unfaithful, it wasn't so much the fact that he was messing around, it was that he lied about it when I asked him. I find it darn near impossible to forgive an adult who tells me a blatant lie, especially when asked outright. Even if the question is as simple as "How does my hair look?". If I ask the question, I want an honest answer or I wouldn't have asked. It is frustrating.

I'm sorry if you were late for work but the kids would thank you. And the rice does get to the mouths of the kids. They were showing how it is distributed this morning. And to think it was started by a man who simply wanted to find a way to boost his son's vocabulary. Big things done by everyday people.

Thanks so much for your words! They recursively strengthen my needed connection to reality!

On a somewhat different tack, it seems like there's a lot of deja vu all over again in understanding one's pattern of mind. The current exchange is a good example. It seems like it often happens that descriptions of issues are examples of themselves.

Anyone else notice this sort of thing?

I am having problem understanding what you are asking/talking about?Can you word it a bit differently(Just had a weird thought...some one sarcasticly saying..."What do you want me to do...draw you a picture" and me thinking...(Yeah that might help)....I wonder if the saying was created in response to trying to communicate with aspies?

That's a GREAT site BlessedMom You need to go and hurry and post it in the "Games Forum" I got to level 44 and over 2000 grains last time I looked and was climbing (trying to see if I can reach Laus level to be honest, I like having something to strive towards) and then suddenly my whole screen went blank.
I know ALOT more words than I thought I did, all that reading does pay off I guess.
