I live in a country where autistic children are considered misbehaving and in need of a good spanking. The concept of an adult autist is virtually nonexistent. You are expected to grow out of it or get shoved in the darkest corners of the society.
This is basically the reason for me joining in this endeavour. I know I'll be alone in the area forever but at least I've started a tiny something.

Another Scot managed to crack it, with assistance. I had a bit of an Aspie moment, getting obssessed about putting the marker in exactly the right place (next to a really interesting plant!).

The pin is actually in the local nature reserve at Carlingnose Point, where you'll find me chasing and recording the local wildlife.

One of my plans for the summer is to spend 24 hours down there recording all the species of mammal, bird, bee, butterfly, moth, hoverfly and plant in the vicinity. Look for the guy with the butterfly net, scope, moth live trap, bat detector, binoculars, hand lens, sample jars and collection of field guides.

It's my version of collecting.
