Interesting, I never heard of the author; but it isn't new.

Yes, you can explain your healing process when you're there, if you want.

I didn't see any contributions you should feel very ashamed of.
But I didn't read all posts on the site.

THE NEW YORK TIMES:

“The power of positive thinking finally gains scientific credibility. Mind-bending, miracle-making, reality-busting stuff...with implications for all human beings, not to mention human culture, human and learning history.

Agreed.

Truly draw dropping stuff. 8O

Welcome to "Wrong Planet" apologies if I've irritated you New Scientist OR even worse far far worse bored you  . Anyways since plasticity is an interest of yours you can appreciate what I've been through:

3 "mild" lobe injuries between the ages of 0-5.

life time of severe depression, anxiety, sensory overloads, epilepsy (severe by end of 09) hallucinations, all this agitated by a severe lobe injury (working as a cycle messenger 8) :) 8O ) and it's all 100% gone even the tinnitus ! Guesstimate 60 % of the recovery was thanks to psychotherapy 40 % thanks to Testosterone (damaged pituitary gland). When I say "intensive" psychotherapy would you like to guess how many sessions it took for it to "sink in" it may shock you. :?

Man I wish that rewiring process wasn't so painful 8O

As far as "brains changing themselves" not a bad effort yes?

I never tell them it's due to my AS I say it's thanks to the vegan diet. :)

PS yes I did have a 9 year severe mental breakdown jolly long time isn't it ?

Oddly enough it hasn't been to helpful in the shyness/confidence social retardnationess department that's 8) , trawling this site and truck driving /aspiring truck drivers seems to be a popular theme and why not ? minimal contact with people, good $$$ (a highly experienced driver can earn a skilled white collar type wage 8) ) and a passport to the world (have a Commonwealth/EU passport 8) / :) ) almost everywhere companies are looking for drivers.

Need to speak to my GP if I get the all clear from a neurologist (EEG/MRI) theirs no reason why I would be denied a licence yes?
