oww oww oww. On those, all you can do is cut the end off the damned thing and push it the rest of the way through. Otherwise the barbs'll tear ya up worse.

CC...I'm sorry your SO is stressing you out. I find that some men find your "passion" an attractive attribute because it means they have inportance to you. That is better then indifference. I rarely throw things because I don't like noise but I can see the appeal in the muscle release of tension that throwing must help with.
I had one incidence of throwing a clock at a BF when he was late coming home, (he went to an old GF house when he thought I was going to be gone and my plans got canceled so I sat in the living room chair staring at the door, the clock, the door , the clock...when he finally should up...I only meant to "show" him the time but the clock left my hand...point made but it did surprise us both. What actually tripped my trigger was that he had been so devious about it. Saying that he wanted to go with me(was going to see a band) but HAD to stay home to study...that was the end for me.
I hope you and your SO work things out.
Reika...awesome on the biking. Before my smoking caught up with me, it was one of my passions...nothing like that feeling of flying with your muscles pushing and wind in your face...love it. I am determined to get out this year(i his on-line all last summer). I am going to go back out and rock hunt this year and get my polisher up and running.
Back to work tonight and no other jobs in sight....

Did 24 miles alltogether, but man, does my butt hurt. It was beautiful out, still a few icy spots on the trails but I'll live. I'm SO happy!! !! ! Gonna go ride some more today, while Mini-Reika is at school. I only have a month to ride while shes at school and then I have to pay a babysitter (her older sister, the only person I really trust w/ her)) to watch her while I ride.Gonna ride in the "Walk and Roll for Hope" in May, its not very far (the bike ride part) but its for the foundation where I get her grants from so I want to give back something. My only problem is I seem to be unable to ask people to sponsor me. I just get all tounge-tied when I think of asking someone. Two of the girls from work put in money w/out me having to ask, but thats the only sponsers I have.
When my boss saw me (78 year old Greek Man) he asked me what was wrong, and I told him my butt hurt, he just smiled and said "Vasilene" He always makes me laugh. Its like his mission, I love him for caring if I ever laugh or not.
We finally have some nice weather for the weekend coming....in the 80s..So I'm looking forward to my first ride on the Rail-trail
for this year....

Many years ago, a couple of my acquaintance... er... shared with me the fact that supposedly unbreakable Duralex™ glassware can, and does, shatter when hurled with sufficient force.
My Number2Son, who has a bright future ahead of him as a demolitions expert/materials tester, proved that Corelle is not invulnerable either. If the dish has been in regular use, and has a slightly abraded surface, or even a shallow chip off one edge, all it takes is a gentle nudge with the elbow off the kitchen bench, and the thing explodes spectacularly all over the floor. And too bloody right about the needle-sharp shards that result. *ouch*
I spoke to Robyn on the phone this morning. She and Jim have just had the carpets removed from a few rooms in their house, and tile flooring¹ put in. In the middle of all this, they drove to the Gold Coast from their place, a four-hour round trip, to come to visit me. (Talk about above & beyond the call of duty!) Now they are back home and trying to put everything back where it belongs. Until their modem/router is restored to its proper location, Robyn will be offline for a day or two. She asked me to say hello to all in the Café for her.
Helen (Smelena) is taking an R & R break at Robyn and Jim's. Once the computer is hooked up, there may be a bit of competition to see who gets online first.

ouinon, your signature is from one of my all-time favorite movies, I LOVE the Princess Bride. I just noticed it. (I always thought Wesley was cute. I know every line to that movie. "Inconceivable" is still my favorite.)
Well, in 3 days I got to ride 43 miles but today it snowed over 16-24 inches so now I have to wait for it to melt again. Which should be within a few days of the temp being above freezing. At least I got to ride for 3 days, so I won't complain. It'll give my butt time to tuffen up.
Lemon, you seem really nice too and I don't know what to say to you either, glad you like to bike also When you and Lau get to talking about computer stuff I just get lost. Its all a foreign language to me.
That WOULD be a good first line of a poem. Full of imagery.
Gotta go try and get Mini-Reika to bed, and then watch "That Mitchell and Webb Look" They really make me laugh. Especially these two. (both about a minute and a half long) The first one is "Hitlers Replacement"
