How I love my fellow cafe members!

I did not realise that Chuck's playfulness was connected to his summer hyperactivity. Doh! I love it when you are insane Chuck, but I know sleeplessness and mania are a big cost to bear.

I wonder where PP and Lau are. Nan! Laurie! No one has been very playful lately! I've got duck tape and string here if you need it.

I loved the lyrics of the song, Chuck... Nothing Else Matters. I share what Carol feels!

Merle, I never watch the movie if it is about a book I've read. I love to be lost in my own world; I don't like the interpretation of some (Hollywood) director to intrude.

Krex, we need you.

DeaconBlue, great message to Blessedmom.

Hi Sam! Hi Skeeterhawk. Hi my Australian friend!

Look what you've done to us, Chuck. You've reached through the screen and infected us with bonhomie (is that a word?)

Robyn

Maybe I am "way off base" but this post bothered me. Am I reading to much into it or are we being insulted as a community? Is it worth responding to(I did) or just trolling? Just looking for feedback for sanity check.

I can't see any need to get too concerned over a thread started by someone who has only been a member for three weeks.

It didn't read as an insult, to me. I think it was a somewhat self-contradictory post (she started by saying she was thinking of leaving, but happily continued posting elsewhere).

On balance, I'd say it was a little provocative (and why not?), but pretty reasonable.

...

There again, maybe I'm missing something. :)

Well, admitedly it was't quite as clear cut as..."Are fat aspie chicks faking it" but I thought it had a tone of ......?<----something not good.

Anywhooo, thanks for the feedback. I wasn't desiring to ban them, just looking for feedback if I was being to sensitive in feeling insulted by the post.

scene four turns on the semiotic values of hair worn up or down and disheveled: Constance enters "distracted, with her hair about her ears" ; "Lady, you utter madness, and not sorrow", Pandolf rebukes her, yet Ophelia insists that "I am not mad; this hair I tear is mine"; she is repeatedly bid to "bind up your hairs"; she obeys, then subsequently unbinds it again, insisting "I will not keep this form upon my head / When there is such disorder in my wit."

"Ophelia! Be it unknownst to thou that thee be the second moon of Uranus?!", asks Hamlet, entering the wrong play. "Now, get thee off thy branch, lest it break and thou dost fall drowning in yon river."

(This scene from Shakespearean Outtakes and Lousy Lines was intended as a reply to Postie's second post November 4, 2008. Please ignore. 'Til then. Methinks I be experiencing some type of computer glitch or some such. Forsooth. Eth.)

8O 8O I suggest some serious working out or pulling trees out of the ground and relocating them with your own two hands. Maybe some sledge hammering of tires. Any lllloooonnnnggg marathons happening around there? Dude, you really need to get rid of some of that energy! :!:

Thanks for this! :) I wrote it down and posted it on my fridge. I think it was Krex who said that by keeping our pain to ourselves we are robbing the people who care about us of the chance to care and be close to us (or something close to that). I had forgotten that but don't think I will again. I am always the one who people come to. It is difficult to be the person who needs when you have always been the one who is needed.

Yeah, I mostly like to read. I've wondered at times if that is an aspie thing since most folks around me are always hot to look at videos whether on a discussion board, you-tube or on the news. I probably look at one video a week at the most.

I like to read, too, as I can make the pictures in my head, but if I watch a video, I only see it like they picture it.
Not that there is anything wrong with that. . . I love movies, etc.

Chuck sets a trap for SleepyD: propping box with stick, interesting book as bait, he tip-toes back behind a shrubbery, and lies in wait praying he doesn't snag Grommit yet again....

...daydreaming, Chuck suddenly suddenly snaps alert due to movement: the box has fallen! "Ha! Success!! !"
Chuck lifts the box, peeks inside and...

:bounce:

LEMON!! !

8O

I'd have thought the box with paints beneath would have caught you...
...Chuck quickly spies the fallen box with paints beneath and sees ...movement!?!
..now, who could be in there!?!

wanders past aimlessly...

"Has anyone seen Lemon?"

... wanders off towards the interesting geometric object just under the thing held up by that awkwardly placed stick...

Wrong book to bait Gromit, who wonders why Chuck is hiding in poison ivy...
