WARNING

The forecast is for severe laughter inducing posts. These will appear in the yesterday morning and will persist until someone finds the door.

It is suggested that everyone retires. A small meat pudding has been sighted practising ballet steps in the East. No frogs were harmed in the production of methane for rain dances.

I thank you.

WARNING!!??? 8O Well, can't be worse than the chaos at my house so I'm not leaving. I'll be in my tree if anyone asks and if no one asks.... in the tree anyway.
It was so quiet at the physical therapists, quiet relaxing music, soft breeze from the A/C moving the curtains between patient areas, decor done in shades of moss green and ivory. (((sigh))) Oh and a thick-accented, physical therapist from Holland who has the same sense of humor as our very own Chuck (same age, too) Had the kid laughing hysterically while working on his knee.

And then I had to come home.

Lyetta, Don't let Chuck fool you, we share a brain which makes him Lau's other triplet. And let me tell you, I try to avoid Chuck's side of the brain, it is a weird and wacky, shiny place! 8O

CC, I must admit that I have been guilty of making the same mistakes as a parent of AS kids. Funnykid doesn't understand arguing or anger. You either like someone or you don't and if you like them you don't argue with them. And when I get angry at him he retreats and I can't reach him for a while. I have learned to temper my reactions to things a great deal because of that. I think the outside world is confusing enough without being confused and anxious at home.
I feel for children whose parents have not come to the realization that they need to control their behaviour, because their children just don't understand. :(

Wow! I was painting, and now cannot find my paintbrush. 8O Now, how does that stuff happen???
If I find my missing horse's leg in the search, I think I will drive myself to the nearest mental ward.

I think I may have seen your missing horse's leg. Was it attached to a horse, by any chance? The paintbrush though, I can't help with that.

I visited my schizophrenic cousin in a mental ward, once (or was it twice?). He self-committed from time to time. I'm not sure I'd like to spend time in one. I don't think they will admit you for losing a paintbrush.

========

Totally unrelated, I did a big post in another thread, listing some of my "accidents". I even missed out a few. All part of life's rich (in my case, often blood spattered) tapestry. :)

Only if you used it to paint invisible or imaginary canvasses.

If rubbish must be spoken here, please speak it fluently!

:D I think I am about the proudest mom on the planet at the moment!! I just drove my 16 year old, terribly shy son to meet a "friend" at a restaurant. We were a few minutes late, his friend wasnt' there, so he ordered his Bubble Tea and came out, thinking he had misunderstood. As I was getting in the van I noticed a very pretty, young lady with long, straight blonde hair, glasses, wearing shorts and a t-shirt that covered her belly. No make-up but naturally pretty. She walked up to my son and said,"I was looking for you." in a quiet, sweet voice unlike the sound that comes out of the teenage girls that Soccerdude hangs out with. She took him by the arm, he opened the door for her and that was how I left them. I am just tickled at the moment. And she looks so nice!
I don't know if it is a "date" and I won't be asking, but HE IS TALKING TO A GIRL!! !! ! :D :D :D

Unrelated eh? I can read between the lines! As opposed to everything you've survived, my missing paintbrush hardly compares as newsworthy, eh?

Well just so you know, I found my paintbrush in my refrigerator with my mail and car keys.

I know when I have been insulted.

You won't be hearing from me again until I finish eating my sandwich.

If I can find it.

Krex, here is a picture into a normal day at my house. I got up at 7:30 this morning, having been up 'til 12 AM trying to get some quiet time alone. I read a few messages while I had my tea and then went about making pancakes, fried eggs and feeding the dogs. Managed to get dressed before the first 2 year old arrived at 8:30 spent a few minutes answering messages on Facebook, cleaned the bathroom and sterilized potties, set up toys in living room and then had other 2 year old arrive at 9:00 AM. Got all the kids out of bed and showered and fed (an exercise in patience) Took Soccerdude to Physical therapy and sat there until 11:20 am, forgot to bring a book but enjoyed the visit. Got home, made lunch, hollered at lil' girl to please clean up her toys and crayons and books that managed to litter the whole house while I was gone. Of course, checked WP while I was at it. Fed little kids lunch and then big kids while making sure Soccerdude and Funnykid were packed to go to their dad's for the weekend. Drove Brainboy to his little meeting ,came home, ate my lunch, checked computer again, calmed Funnykid down after panic attack about going to dad's, which he didn't do, tidied kitchen am now going to pick up Brainboy, after which I will get ready for work, make supper for everyone and leave at 4:00 to be at work for 4:30. I will be there until 9:00 pm and thankfully, I only have to clean house tomorrow! :D

Migraine?....what migraine???

...erm, I got up, started to paint, lost my paintbrush, wandered around, found my paintbrush...

What?

I could do what you do! I could! I think I could. I probably could. Maybe I could. On a good day I could. With a little help maybe. Ok, with lots of help. If everyone here helped. Oh all right. If everyone here helped, and I wasn't present to mess it all up.

Then I could do it! :)

Quick! Give me your son's phone number. I need to talk to him. It's not too late. There's still a chance that I can still save him.

Migrain......?that would put me into a catotonic stuipor. My day so far.....

Wake at 3pm and stumble the laundry next door, quaters and laundry in appropriate holes(not so easy to do,pre coffee.)Get large mug of coffee, add cocoa and find computer and cigs.Begin cough drop breakfast, chain smoking and checking WP updates.
Laugh hysterically(but silently,so as not to alarm the cats surrounding me)at the latest antics in the cafe.Currently 4:24 and thinking of putting clothes in dryer.Sole obligations today....shower and dress for work before 8:30pm.Then the real fun begins.

Seems I took the advice of AA,to "keep it simple" a little to much to heart.Just asked my BF to put the clothes into the dryer for me....keeping it extra simple today.

Hello and welcome richie! :) Hope you enjoy yourself here. Be on the lookout! Postie visits people while he sleeps, and he's just finished hiding my keys, mail and paintbrush in my refrigerator, so he may be visiting you next.

Now where is my keyboard?

I just phoned the husband and he will be making supper when he gets home. Don't know if he likes it or not but I just don't have anymore to give to anyone today. My brain went numb on the drive to get the kid and I just can't do supper. :?
