First Name: If it were less identifiable, I would post it.

Age: 27

Location: Newport News, VA, USA (for now, hoping to move back west in a year or so)

Hobbies and Interests: Reading, Writing, Traveling, Psychology, Philosophy, Yoga/Meditation, Religion, Science Fiction, Cartoons, Life Extension, Adopting pets, Growing Succulents & Cacti

Why are you here? Never found a forum with so many people like me.

When were you diagnosed? I was never diagnosed. As a child teachers/babysitters thought that there was something 'wrong' with me. Parents took me to psychologists and they only thought that I was a walking encyclopedia with a somewhat 'difficult' personality. Maybe a combination of growing up in the 80's and being female made me fly under the radar in spite of having profound social difficulties.

Favorite subjects: Literature, Philosophy, and Genetics

Year/Grade: Left college three years ago.

Favorite music: Ambient, New Age, Reggae, Smooth Jazz, Dance, and Some Rock

Books: (by) Kurt Vonnegut, Stephen King, Clive Barker, Philippa Gregory, Ray Bradbury, Roger Zelazny, and several more.

TV shows/Movies: South Park, Futurama, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Simpsons, Battlestar Galactica, 24, Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek DS9, Seaquest DSV, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis

Instrument: Piano

Do you like sports? Never really got into it. My hand-eye coordination used to suck before I took up yoga--now it's adequate and I can actually stand on one foot for more than a microsecond.

Family: We had our issues, but now get along very well. Not at all close to extended family though.

Clothing: Whatever is comfortable

How did you find this website? A google search for born on wrong planet without the quotes.

Job: Freelance Editor

Plans for the future? Write a novel, move to New Zealand, adopt a few animals, travel more, and maybe even have a child or two just like me.

Any comments? Looking forward to meeting others of my species.

I guess I'll follow the standard format. :)

first name: Stefanie

Age: High School Senior

Location: CT

Hobbies & Interests: reading, baking, violin, music, A/V work, politics, law.

Why are you here? Well, I suspect that I am on the spectrum somewhere and I found you guys on google. Even if I'm not, I suppose that I won't cause too much harm.

Favorite Subjects: History, foreign language.

Grade: 12

Favorite Music: Classical, rock and roll, pop, okay, I just have eclectic tastes.

Books: War and Peace was good, but I hated all the characters. I am rather into classic lit at the moment.

TV and Movies: I have weird taste in movies. I like almost anything on the Discovery channel, the History Channel, and National Geographic. What not to Wear is pretty good, too.

Instrument: I have played the violin for 9 years and I can sort of play the dulcimer.

Sports: I curl. As in, the winter ice-type sport.

Family: old, Italian, rather hard to bear.

How I found the site: Google.

Job: Student

Plans for the future: Go to college/university and then law school.

Comments: um?! I don't know!

Clothing: I like to dress up a bit, no crazy ball gowns to school or anything, but dark jeans, a nice blouse, and a blazer make me feel rather good.
