I'm theoretically getting ready to help with the Justice Conference happening in Portland, OR. Actually, I'm sitting here feeling anxious (why? maybe overwhelmed?) and consuming much chocolate.

Me and DH are OK! We just got the new washer and used dryer installed, and I don't have to collect quarters for the laundromat anymore. Yea! :cheers:

Here in South Central PA we don't get tornadoes but we do get flooding from the occasional tropical storm.

The daffodils are blooming in the front yard! I like to stare at the bright yellow.
Tomorrow I am getting a rescue xoloitzquintle dog. He's totally naked.

Bone, who looks like he should be lying on Styrofoam in the chicken cooler, wears a McIntosh cloak. When I bring out the chicks and ducks for the dogs to notice they are not to be prey, he inhales so hard their little heads almost stick to his nose. And he wants to make us happy. It is nice to have somebody around who wants to make us happy.
