Tastes like pumpkin pie. It was the first kind I learned how to make ever.

I talk that way too sometimes if I'm not careful. Can you get away with talking that way IRL?
No. I usually have to modify my diction to fit the voice of another speaker in order to socialize with neurotypicals. If I am "pedantic" or too literal, they will usually look at me with an unidentifiable expression similar to the expressions I understand to indicate fear or surprise. I can't keep this particular kind of act going for very long, though, for a myriad of reasons.

I'd be happy to compare notes on symptoms with you...not sure whether it'd be more polite to do that here or on messages, though.
I have no idea what is polite or why things are polite, except in some cases. In this case I think it would be considered acceptable to discuss our NVLD anywhere unless otherwise specified, because this is a forum created to discuss neurodiversity. Then again, this thread was created specifically for introductions, so it might be better if we discussed this topic over PM. So lets do that!

I go for organic vanilla ice cream, though there are more flavours that I like, but I just ate that one.
You remind me of one of my childhood friends. She likes to construct those kinds of sentences. She also had Asperger's or some other ASD, but was never diagnosed because although although she has sensory-integration dysfunction and a minimal understanding of non-verbal communication, she is a genius in every subject. She was obsessed with birds especially falcons and works at a particle accelerator now. I for some reason felt compelled to share this information with you. Don't you think its odd when people claim that Asperger's expresses itself differently in females? That hasn't been my experience at all. People seem to like to claim untrue things about females, like that they are more social then males. Social groups consisting of affluent males are an extremely important part of the Untited State's political culture, and I see males roaming together in large groups all the time.

It might be true that women are more social than males.
But I don't know for sure.
And I don't know many male and female aspies personally.
You would have to do a scientific study on it to be able to draw conclusions, I think. But that is what I think most of the time about most things.

Hello, now I am not a fan of ice cream or doughnuts, but I really liked the Beatles when I first heard them when they arrived in the US. Yes, I am that old. My son is a 2E Child and I love him more than anything. I love Aspies in general. They are so refreshing and pure in thought. I have never liked the majority much. I find their lack of thought to be distressing. Anyway, welcome. I am relatively new myself.
