Hi, Warren!

Wow! You must be a very responsible person!

For a minute, I didn't understand whether or not you said you joined the Navy, but then I understood you said you did.

Are you enjoying the Navy? Do you like the customs they do every day?

Welcome, and I'm glad you decided to join us here!

Technically yes I have a lot of responsiblity at certain timesbut mostly its more that the responsibilty comes as part of the job rather than direct leadership skills (which i seriously struggle with!!).

I like the daily routine when im in a stable job. The rules are clear cut and dead easy to understand. Like society there are a lot of "unwritten rules" to mess you up but not too many.

For me the step from school to navy was easy as basic training is just like being at school routine wise just harder working in lesson times!! ! The step from basic training to sea life is sudden but the routine is clear cut at sea so easy to adapt too.

Im in submarines and i loved the ballistic missile boats as the routine was very very predictable. They then moved me to attack subs this year and I couldnt cope with the new varied routine of never knowing if you are coming or going. That in combination with a lot of pshycological issues from earlier in life catching me up meant i became quite ill.

Can I say it? I was being honest when I said to myself I realized you are mentally ill!

Is it that obvious?? LOL

Is it the way i write or something?

I spent almost 3 weeks in a mental hospital for self harm (cutting) back end of october. Didnt help as i was not allowed to the group therapy to find alternative coping skills.

I'm not sure!

It's nice to have you, though!

Thanks!

I got lots of mental issues LOL and am still quite mentally ill. I struggle to communicate how i feel to the shrinks so they cant really help me. Not good when you keep hurting yourself!! ! They seem to assume after a suicide attempt that as i am not showing any outward signs of emotional distress then I'm a low risk. :?
