Starr, hale_bopp: your cats are adorable.

Here is my sweetie Krys, on the carpet in my room, on my lap and in a cart I brought in once from the supermarket:

Yes, I have a total of nine cats, four indoor cats and five feral cats, plus a dog. The dog is Partner, a pit bull/chocolate Lab mix.

The housecats are: Puffy (tabby), Peter (tabby and white), Paul (gray striped Oriental Shorthair) and Prince (Tabby/Lynx point Siamese).

The ferals are: Itty (orange and white), Zwenner and Drenner (brown and orange tortoishells), Faber (Snowshoe Siamese), and Uncker (orange and white).

I also had a Siamese, Samantha (Lynx point) who lived to be 20.

Krys is the most affectionate creature one could imagine. He purrs almost all the time - certainly upon being touched - and he loves being caressed and cuddled. He has as much need to be hugged as I do. I can play with him for hours, and he'll keep nudging me, very gently, bumping his head into me, rubbing his cheek against mine and suchlike, all the while purring like a couple tractors. He usually does it when I'm at the PC working - he'll come, lie down on the desk and start attracting my attention, and I play with him while I translate or write. Often, he sleeps under the covers with me and will either end up lying on my face or neck, or stretched out against my body. It's very calming and makes me happy.

This is Wasabi... our cat Sushi escaped two years ago while she was in heat and got knocked up. She had a litter of 4, and Wasabi we kept since I delivered him (he was last out and she was exhausted). He's my dude. Sometimes we watch Top Gear or F1 races together.
I'll see if I can't find a better picture of him... that was taken when he was about 6 months old. He's now reached his full size and, stretched out, is about a meter long, plus some.

I'm not good at posting pics, but I do have pics of them saved in an E-mail my dad sent when he took pics of them. I still have to get one of my dog, but I have one of my four indoor cats.

9CatMom, I am wondering where you sit in the evenings? If your cats are anything like all the cats I've ever known, they pinch the best seats and leave you the draughty seat by the door

dexkaden, Zeus looks like he is smiling! He is very handsome.

Yes, he is handsome. But in that picture I think he is giving me his "I can't believe you did that to me. Don't you love me?" look since I had just done this:


In that picture, he his giving me his "I am putting up with this because you feed me and give me catnip, not because I love you" look. He looks completely thrilled, yes?

This is Kerbee, and he's up there because of all these cat pics ! !! !!

Cats have the habit of taking all the best places for themselves. Prince, my big Siamese boy, takes up my entire pillow. My cats' favorite place to sit is on me.
