do you know, i have never had spam about viagara, or about making my penis larger. i'm feeling left out! or am i? nah, come to think of it. why do i appear to be exempt from this sort of thing, though?

Maybe you have an unusual email address. My name isnt too common (i got to put it as my address without changes or numbers) so i never get spam.

Maybe they already know you don't have a penis.... Then again, I don't need another mortgage but I get those ones all the time, too. My email program filters them into a separate folder for easy deletion anyway.

You're referring to a different kind of poll, I think. Maybe it's spelled pole, actually.

Oh, now I get it. You're both talking about LICKING! Not that there's anything wrong with that, either....

What, you don't need another mortgage but you didn't mention the penis? Are you looking for a spare or something? Now i'm confused.

anyway... alex - i am now quite hysterical at the idea of a "spare", whether it's a spare mortgage or a spare penis. the mind boggles.. 8O

ooooh..so...tempted...mustn't...

I was referring to the permanently attached variety. Having easy access to someone else's doesn't count. And, of course, Viagra has no impact on the size of the artificial ones.

*HOWL!*

oh, jetson, i am utterly incapacitated with laughter!

however, i am - through sheer force of will and determination - managing to recover enough to inform you that i have neither of the above (she said, wistfully...).

what was this thread about, again?

There's nothing wrong with being curious about the personality types on here, but I don't think your conclusions (as stated in another thread) are likely to be very accurate at all.

I thought those DSM Polls were quite good, especially as I have spent around the last six weeks or so looking into such matters on the Internet.

They don't seem to be a serious attempt at original scientific research and in fact the very fact that such taxonomies can be over-generalised and superficially yield 'results' that probably would not stand the test of clinical rigour seems to be one reason for testing the ideas.

It is also interesting to see how a different 'approach' to a set of observable symptoms can be interpreted so differently by mental health professionals trained in different areas of their discipline.
