Hi Damien, I can relate to a lot of what you say from my own situation, but I truly feel its not that we do not try, its that we are often very misunderstood. Many of us like myself prefer cyberspace friends, as they allow for us to be and tend not to intrude on who we are...

Hey Damien.
I relate to the family life, aside from my mom having personality disorders.. i also live hundreds of miles away form my family, or thousands.. well, opposite side of the country in Canada, so thats a lot of land. I dont talk to them all that often though my mom calls a lot.. I get along fine with both of them now, though my dad I get along with better then my mom nowadays.. I went on undiagnosed through my entire life, and only now do things start to make sense.. if they had of paid more attention earlier then I would not have suffered nearly as much as I did.. but instead I was forced to do this and that, and alienated by new stepfamilies along the way and such..
what was my point? *scratches head*
Oh yeah, you dont sound like you're complaining, afterall this place seems to be for everyone whos in your shoes or knows someone who is.. So nice to meet you.
