Thanks Lau.

I'm lost here.

I'm not on the same wavelength as the rest. Maybe I'll check back in a week or two. I'll go look in the other threads and forums.

Spent time with Ubby3 {he got your nickname straight away. Lau.) He's in great shape, like the little boy we used to know before he started school 18 mths ago. Reasons- a day off school once a week...ooops I mean home schooling; no physical education with a bully of the teacher; only 2 trips on school bus; counselling at the aussie guru for asp & aus centre ...now I remember Tony Atwood..and plenty of time to pursue his own interests-AND WP. Thank you dinos from both cafes for your input and support.

If there's blood on the ground it's probably mine stay away from it, it is toxic. I've got to stop this serious stuff and get back to some serious play time. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. I don't know Jack.

Jick, Jack, Smick, Smack.
Who's a gonna kick Zack?

(OK, so I ran out of rhyme/idea at the end).

Hi PP. One can never be too careful around blood, can one... I've seen a lot of mine, from time to time. The latest time, in quantity, was meeting a tent (marquee, actually) peg. (I may have mentioned this before - if not, I might be cajoled into telling the story again.)

Ah! And I say that postpaleo has kitten feet. His aunt was a steam engine! He laughs before the punch line. I make ape noises and do origami in my spare time in his garden. May all his aspidistras grow too tall for dwarves to hide under them!

I can't stop laughing. You got me and you got me good. Even though I write my sillyness best (it entertains me at least) when I'm half asleep, I can't top that one. Bed time for Bonzo. We've got to do something about this time thing, it's keeping us a part, well a little water and I can't swim that strong anymore. I won't need white noise today, I'll still be laughing.

PS. I keep meaning to ask. Your current avatar (I can't read the bit at the bottom) looks very "René Magritte"... is it?
He's one of my favourite artists. I used to visit the Tate gallery in London quite regularly and they have several of his works.

Naw I haven't made it to the couch yet.

Little frustrated with the avatars, hard to get a good clear one in here. that's the cover to "The Naked Lunch" by William S. Burroughs, beat poet, he had the nic of the man in the hat from the cover. I didn't try to see who the cover artist was, good question. It's a typewriter that is coving the face. Interesting guy, some great quotes. I like to read biographys a little more then some other types of books. I don't think I ever read the book all the way through, but look at parts of it now and again. Thats pretty usual for me anymore, which is why I get on ok reading here. I had some other people I read more of from that generation. Was surprised to see a name considered a "beat" Shel Silverstein, knew him better for his playboy cartoons. Supposedly back when one bought the magizene for the writing, which was very good. But being the good high strung teen that I was, why read when drooling is easier.

You cannot out taunt me you mad sunned musem going Englashmon, for I am not a lawn gnome and will sit on your potted plants, while unfolding your silly papers. Your distant cousin on your aunts side was a cave painting in a neanderthals big brain. I will fouly chastise your pagan beer rites and kippers. Now go a way or I will I whittle your woes.

Yeah. All my fault. I just couldn't handle the cafe being in the new forum. A marriage made in hell, to my mind.

I've got this revolutionary streak - and I have a plan!

I'm going to sneak all these barrels of gunpowder down underneath the Houses of Parl... What? Someone's already done that? Bother.... OK...

I'm going to write all these pithy sayings in a little book... the cover... red I think... and I'll give myself a title: "Lounger Lau" or "Chairman Lau" ... Surely not? Someone's done that too? Drat...

I'm going to just tell the governors to clear off and write my own rules. There's nothing like a good harangue (I just had one with postpaleo), so I'll call it "The Declamation of Interdependence".... Hmm... Well... so you say that's been done too... or near enough, anyway. My idea isn't quite exactly the same though.

Maybe this needs a little more thought.

The Burroughs quote is also in a song that is stuck in my head...something by Jim Carol,I think?

I struggled through several Burroughs books,(worth the effort)he was a punk idol for many, along with Bukowski(sp?)and Charles Manson(a bit extream being a sociopath and all,but did say some witty things)

Do you think Burroughs was an aspie?

(I love to do that.... :D )

(PostPaleo's Gravity Altar quest, continued...)

...Just prior to arriving at the moon's 'efaC oniD dlO to save PostPaleo, one of Nan's heads realized that her ass would need enough power to travel back in time. So it swallowed two more dr/smo/sno/do tablets, sending the Nan ass-powered four-head-Nan-table into quadruple overdrive!! ! Into and out of the cafe (now with PostPaleo on the table lying by Nan's side, his paw trying to shake off the Holy Hand Gernade in seeming slow motion) Nan's ass zoomed, and now westward until time stood still, and then reversed!! ! They traveled backwards together through time and space until they were 240 million light years away. Postie finally shook loose the gernade and yelled through blurring time to Nan "Clear out!! !" Nan's head swallowed the remainder of the dr/smo/sno/do tablets, and they sped off in the opposite direction, heading back towards the present day...

...It was a joyous day on planet SN2006gy! Beautiful, sunny, another perfect day! And on center stage at the podium was God Almighty in personified form addressing its citizens:

"Of all of my creations, of planet SN2006gy am I most proud!! ! A perfect utopia! You, the citizens of this great planet, are wise and peaceful beyond compare! A shining example for the rest of the cosmos! For your exemplary behavior, I bestow upon you the gift of seeing me in physical form, in all my glory, and I ... eh wassat?"

Suddenly, God and the rest of the throng looked upward into the sky and watched a shiny silvery object come tumbling out of the sky towards them.....

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news ... rnova.html *[/quote]

Lau and Chuck, in the Old Dino Cafe', heard a strange WHOMP!! ! and a shockwave of wind blew through the shrubbery. When the dust settled, they found Nan and PostPaleo sitting dazed on the ground! Nan's heads were fused back into one by the blazing speed of time travel, and out of dr/smo/sno/do, her ass was back in place. Lau helped them to their feet. It was then that Chuck noticed: there were two PostPaleos!! ! One had been sitting on top of the other!

They were exactly identical, PostPaleo1 and PostPaleo2, distinguishable only by a small mole on PostPaleo2's left glasses' lens.

They looked at each other for a moment, then at the exact same time pointed at one another and exclaimed:

"What did YOU do?!"
