Brilliant, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of that song.

This is a sad and revealing of the isolation emotions video I once
did on autism's and aspergers isolation and it's driving effect of
isolation. I am sad right now, so this best reflects my isolated
feeling right now.

Not really a video of me, but I appear in the very beginning, wearing a black shirt and red beret. You see me for about 1 second as the camera stops panning left, and begins to pan back to the right. It was recorded in February 1991 at an unlicenced club in Portland, Maine where I occaisionally ran the PA system. It was recorded on a JVC .75 inch format professional video camera, and the entire vido was dubbed in on a Sony linear editing desk in April of 1991 by the singer of the band. The studio footage and the audio track was recorded at a space owned by the drummers dad in Gorham Maine in 1990.

I suspect that the singer as well as the lead guitar player both have an ASD, I have known both Jordan,(The singer) and Skummy Bob, (The lead guitar player) since 1985. Bob also makes his own guitars, and is has been making his own guitar amps since 1992.

Be warned however that the video is in DIVX format, and is a 51.3 MB Download. Also there is adult language present for those of you who are easily offended.

I love your Taking Notes/Technical Communication Textbook video. Hee hee. I remember Victor Borge very well. We used to watch films of him when I was in elementary school AGES ago. I just turned 45 this week. I wonder if my son would like to see some Victor Borge. Do you have any clips? He's hyperlexic. I have a video of him around here somewhere. He got stuck on the word "Ampersand". "So he repeated over and over "Ampersand Daddy! Ampersand Daddy! Ampersand Daddy!" He was 2 years old.

Do you have any vision problems? My Alex has some sort of saccadic eye movement problem and "convergence insufficiency". I can tell you don't have any sort of convergence insufficiency since you cross your eyes quite well.

This was a really fun video.

I'm not really an alcoholic. I was poking fun at AA meetings.

Hey ahayes, since your so good at debaiting (on alminum at least) do you have any ideas for my next video that i can film so you can bash it? no seriously, I need ideas.

I do not think he was trashing you. But all us aspies can fail to communicate in a way
that is not seen as an attack. And we tend to see things as attacks when they were not
meant that way.

I liked your video other than in the brick wall seen it sound as if you did a voice over
that got your lips outta sink.

I thought ahayes was providing some pertinent information. My somewhat (not quite there in terms of testing but definitely borderline) aspie husband has a PhD in chemistry and believe it or NOT we've actually discussed aluminum can's and that protective oxide. I just LOVE the braininess of that conversation. I was destined to marry someone on the high functioning end of the spectrum because I've always been completely fascinated by brilliant people. Even as a kid I preferred hanging around with people who were smart but tended not to be accepted well by kids at school. Well, I'm a bit like that too, though I tend more toward ADHD. I remember one guy, he's a math professor now, who taught me about Socialism when I was 13. He also liked to carry around big paper grocery bags full of toilet paper. He claimed that had messages from the Russians on them. But I thought he was really interesting. Other kids were rotten to him, but he can have a laugh on all of them now since he's got a good job and likes what he does.

Anyway, here I go just aimlessly wandering around the topic.

Miriam

I recorded this on my crappy digital camera which was not at all made for recording. The sound doesn't synch up with the video, so just listen I guess...

I plan on getting a new camcorder soon. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should purchase? I'm looking for something that will keep up with my guitar playing for under 300 USD. Thanks in advance.
