Sicklee- The bartender picture was about 13 years ago-there's a recent one a bit earlier in the thread- I realize how pathetic I'm being but thanks for the comment anyway (you too ladyinred). I actually have an aversion to being the center of attention but I don't like to be disregarded either. I was just being paranoid; it seems whenever anyone posts their pics there are always lots of friendly comments and I was just feeling invisible. There have been other threads when WP'ers talk about being ignored in conversation so I think we can all understand how it feels. I'll try to pull my head out now. :)

P - how did you manage to bring on that photo as that clear and big? Can you point out what "wrong" they do when their photos shows up that small?
btw, I like your childhood photo!

Strapples asked me the same thing in a personal message - All I did was right-clicked on bdhkhsfgk's photo, copied the location of his photo, went to his public PhotoBucket account, found the photo in his album, zoomed onto his photo, right-clicked on it to retrieve the image-location (so that I could embed it here), came back to this thread, pasted his image link and finally added the IMG tags before and after the image link and submitted it.

oh right, thats what I did with Aimless' photo to make it appear big in good quality but I missed for some reason to locate the original photobucket account of bdhkhsfgk. Lack of enough attention I suppose...

Nobody cares about my pictures, they only ask how they got them big Sad. Am i THAT ugly, so ugly that nobody even comments it?!. I want to get the truth out; Am i hot, decent looking, or ugly?. Please, i beg someone to answer!

ladyinred- first of all to have my feelings hurt because no one commented on my photos- second of all to admit to that publicly and still be ignored-at this point it's best forgotten.

oj.... Im really sorry that I paid too much attention to the size than the content in both your cases!

As I dont post my own photos here I didnt realise how important comments can be for you who do.
Because it is of course vurneable to show yourself like this in an huge public forum.
I belive that for us with AS its even more important to be seen and accepted as we are.
And maybe feel yourself forgotten in favour of somebody else whose photo gets attention.

Try not to think that you are less worth here than anybody else if you can.
Try not to think that you are ugly and not pretty because people dont say the opposite.
I understand now how you can feel in this and that lack of comments can give an uncertain feeling.

But you both are brave and proud of who you are and how you look, and like to share yourself. Remember that!
You know, Im not proud of myself and how I look, thats why I dont want to show myself here....

So, I think you both look as nice and friendly people and like to see more of you in the future.
I hope you by time can feel comfortable in sharing your photos!

You look great to me Aimless. My advice though is that you don't take offense when people don't comment on your photos. Hardly anyone receives comments on their photos. You look very attractive to me, so it's not like people decided to not comment on your picture because they thought you were ugly or anything.

P- Thanks
Actually there is a lot of posing and a lot of flirting in the "post your pic thread" which seems uncharacteristically N.T. to me. Maybe I just feel like a failure that I'm so bad at that kind of stuff. I've spent a lot of time in my life trying to make myself invisible to avoid rejection and damned if it didn't work!! I'm ok, I have little mini depressions, not like before. Now that I'm medicated I know I'll cycle out of it. Let's face it, I'm not here because I'm well adjusted. :)

I've never really taken much notice of this thread, so I havn't seen many of the posts before page 290 (when I got bored of looking at people far cuter than myself). If you don't mind me saying, Strapples, I like the pics of you when you have facial hair, more that the pics without

This is the only decent pic of me that I currently have available, so.

silky hair... must... rub.....

you look good :D

Oh, thank you.
I wish my hair would stay nice and straight like that.
But it defies me, always.

It's normally a curly shapeless thing.

Strapples, it's probably because you are somewhat of a celebrity on this site. Females are too star-struck to comment on your images. 8) :P Haha, you are well-known on this site though, that's for sure.

People probably don't comment so often since everybody here already knows what you look like. The people who get the most comments are people who post their pics for the first time.

This is my most recent photo. I won the necklace on an online giveaway. The seller values it at $190. Must be some valuable glass! Regardless of the price, I really like the necklace. It sparkles in a way that this photo does not portray.

And yes, this picture is heavily photoshopped!
I love the appearance of completely smooth, even, plastic-y looking skin, even though I know very well that it most likely does NOT occur in real life, even with the assistance of makeup.
