This is fairly recent in the past 6 months. I have so very few pics of myself because I am not photogenic. I prefer to draw me.

It is quick and easy to insert a picture, what you do is copy a picture from photobucket or other picture hosting site and then insert a code.

I know HOW to post pictures, I am just too new. The site says I have to be a member for 5 days before I can post them. I like the rule. It's a neat little spam filter. It says I can't post anything with a URL.

That's weird, my neighbour was only a member for a couple of days and yet she managed to be able to post links with URL's?
But I do highly suggest you wait for another 5 days before you do so.
