To me a religion is a group of people with a single cause...

But that's just it, athiests aren't a group of people.

And I'm not trying to convert you, I'm just trying to show you that what you claim is not based on a scientific process.

Atheism is not "Science" by any stretch of the imagination. (Now there's a true delusion!)

If I could prove that there were no god, would it then be founded in science?

You cannot equate Atheism to Theism any more than you can equate sleeping to having a hobby. (for a very few people sleeping may be a hobby)

how strange,

Started appearing to launch an all out attack on communism and atheism, which so far as I can tell were not the thing originally discussed.

And then said that I was going off topic and doing gymnastics.

Very strange indeed.

Well they do say that religious people do think differently from none-religious people.

Maybe it really did seem that way to her,

I was not mounting an attack on religion, in-fact I believe she started that one. I was merely trying to say that what she experience fell well within random probability and that most people don't actually understand what random was and gave some examples ( for instance Gambling) and that her own personal assertions seemed to display a lack of understanding of the matter.

It was quite hard continuing without pointing making some remarks that related directly to her and could have been seem by some as 'insulting', though I am of the nature that I will call fat people fat, instead of lieing about it and calling them 'curvy' or whatever (I was 19 stone once and I hated it when people said things like, 'you've just got a big belly', do they not realize that fat in that area is the most mobile and leads to an earlier death than fat anywhere else.)

That's just the nature of random, what I experienced was in no means random.

Not random at all. Prime numbers are a pattern. What's ironic, is they used the same formula for the movie "Contact" years later. I didn't even make the connection with that until just a few short years ago.
"57" "357" even "1157"... on a rare occasion, a 2 or an 11 such as passing by a clock and just looking the moment it is 11:57... it was creepy... and this continued over many years. I couldn't figure out what these numbers meant. Waking up at 3:57 in the morning... many times. I felt / sensed they meant something. Back in 1980's and 1990's... it plagued me. I even asked some psychics if they could tell me what "357" means... (abt. 1994) ... no answers worth repeating here. Nonsensical gibberish... A Christian evangelical man (in 2000) blurted out that 3=Trinity 5=Guidance 7=Holiness/Perfection... and though I had asked him nothing about this, I thought he was mad... he blathered those very numbers (357) which was sort of "Twilight Zone" for me (I had been Deist most all of my adult life so it was strange) -- he was speaking in tongues or something, and I politely excused myself. As I drove away, I thought to myself "How very weird... frightening," but how odd that the old man specified only those numbers, 357" - no others- even though it still didn't satisfy my question.

One day it dawned on me. The same concept was raised in the movie "Contact" with Jodie Foster. There is a signal transmitted from deep space and, as they decipher it, the patterns of beats, go 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13... etc...
They realize it's prime numbers, therefore deduce "intelligent life" is out there.

Prime numbers are _not_ random.
I think there is something "intelligent" out there, and it is with us. I believe in God.

I've heard of many christians seeing number patterns. I find your connection with the movie Contact interesting in relation to this video:

I think it would be fair to add that if prime numbers are to be considered 'none-random', then indeed all integers (whole numbers) are none random by the same count.

You could say the same about anything that's transcendental
something that is both 'random', but also none-random.

It looks like (the none-random bit) there's a code (the random bit)

Trying to get back on topic and away from the "christianity/religion/athiest" issues... I count myself religious, but not in a christian way!

I have a similar experience with numbers - I often spot 11:11 on digital clocks, or 11 degrees digital thermometers, or other random stuff. I find it a bit freaky, but I don't equate it to supernatural, or anything - I put it down to random chance - or technically I put it down to the randomness of "how much water did the tap put in my glass that I drank before I went to bed that made me wake up at 11:11 so I could go to the loo!" or other random things that have reasons, but that might not be obvious from the outset...

Just my tuppence!

I worked out what caused those things.

I was on 'anti-depressants' at the time.
They make you less 'self-conscious' less 'concerned' about yourself,
So I became more 'conscious of others'

also get less 'self-conscious' and go a big manic,
and more conscious of others and 'get anxiety'

the 'body language' thing, that was cool as.

You'd be absolutely amazed what body language 'gives' away.

Sometimes I get a lot from body language, but I think that knowing the exact amount of money, rather than just "enough" or "not enough" gets into psychic ability. I've had a few times when I thought I was reading minds, but more often I have a deja vu. Twice, they have been dreams coming true. The time it was very clear, I was debating with myself about changing the script, while listening to my mouth repeat the dream exactly.

no, you can tell by quote how their body language is.
The more money they are short of the different expression.

Gind of 'almost' so counting again, looking on the floor,
to. checking pockets - looking at anyone who make lend a little.
to looking for a friend.
to, looking at others pints to see if they can grab on.
to, looking disgruntled, or look at the credit card machine.

and the speed and timing and flow between the things...
etc.....
