Klint: that is so cool that you got that close to the Stanley Cup!! ! i am trying to remember who won it in 2004.

i have got to hold both the women's and men's NBA championship trophies that belong to the (now gone to Tulsa, OK) Detroit Shock and the Pistons. i am a big fan of the Shock and went to many of their games and other events, some of which included up close trophy time.

ok, i can't figure out how to post a picture here, so i am unable to do so.

the glasses look great. i don't know how to tell if they are girl or boy glasses, honestly. unless they had sparkly butterflies on them, then i would probably think they are girl glasses.

Thanks! I'm thinking about tracking down a similar pair or so.

this is me a couple summers ago at the Motor City LGBT Pride fest in Ferndale, Michigan just north of Detroit aka the Motor City.

The basketball jersey is from Detroit's former Women's pro team, the Shock, and #14 for the Shock is my all time favorite player, Deanna Nolan. look her name up on YouTube if you'd like to be amazed by her feats on the court.

Heheh, thanks. Well, I've heard that people with autism generally have a distinctive appearance, which I think can in many cases be observed, but its hard to describe.

I did find this:
Quote:

While there are numerous signs and symptoms that may indicate autism, physical characteristics are harder to define. Some possible physical characteristics, however, include the following:

* Low facial muscle tone
* Large eyes (often perceived this way because of pupil dilation)
* Pale skin (...)
* Impaired motor skills

it would be cool if you also posted in the aspies with glasses pic thread (in the Adult Autism Issues section).

my daughter was in our local LGBT pride parade. she thinks she is probably str8 (only 16 years old, so who knows really?) but she respects people of all persuasions.

thanks, hyperlexian...it is a wig and not my real hair, but my real hair is pretty long too. it can be really hard to look convincingly feminine since i have not gone on hormones or had any surgeries yet (i am a transgendered woman, FYI...still physically male)

well, i think you look beautiful - the wig is just right. i think there is something wonderful about a person dressing as their own inner self and being proud of it.
