It's unusual for me not to reply instantly to a post that grabs my attention, but I was so moved by your words yesterday, Hartz, that I could not respoond. Sometimes it's hard to share sorrow across cynerspace.

Hello peoples just got back from over there, gave the usual welcome to WP...
and a few words of encouragement.

We are seeing more cases in Davidson, Rutherford, and Sumner counties lately (Nashville, and vicinity):

They have begun decontaminating several affected area schools, but the news reports here are minimally reporting what is actually being seen in the hospitals and pharmacies. I treated (or sent to hospitals), then afterwards gave meds and counseling to roughly 10 patients per night shift last week. We have decided to construct a small nursing clinic (2 exam rooms) in our pharmacy, so in addition to continually cleaning up the construction dust, we've been decontaminating the pharmacy nightly (plus counters, door knobs, phone handsets, etc, after each known infected patient) - at least 100 staph-contaminated patients have been in and out of our pharmacy last week. Several are traveling business people - who have been flying - and who intend to continue to fly - in spite of my advice to not expose other air travelers to their infections.

These people just do not have a clue as to how serious this could become. Two years ago the Netherlands had to decontaminate almost everything and quarantine all infected citizens before they got their problem under control - at great expense. If you plan to travel for the upcoming holidays, wash your hands before eating, or carry alcohol wipes.

I'll be back to play tomorrow - had to catch up on raking, mowing, laundry, and cleaning today, and my heating/cooling unit's coil is leaking, so I've got to get that fixed/ replaced. I'm so sleepy - can't keep my eyes open.
