eScential, is that avatar for real?

I don't know. Just like it. Makes me think outside the cage. I got it from an email years ago. My cats wouldn't sit for it.

Thanks for the tea and muffins and waffles. I am ready to sleep.
Oh, one of my cats loves the video of the snowman

The cat in your avie doesn't look as if it was too keen on the idea, either!

Oh, and welcome here, in case I haven't said.

christ on a pogo stick. even all that talent couldn't save it if dylan was singing it!
that boy can't carry a tune in a bucket if he had to....

Yeah actually he can. He's done a couple where he actually sings, lol. Nashville Skyline, the one he did with Johnny Cash, was the first one where he actually sang. I was shocked. Rumor was he stopped smoking. Who knows. I like a few of his really early things and a lot of his later. His Blood on the Tracks is pretty good too.

hello,
Just keeping up with the Cafe, I don't seem to be getting the email notifications that someone has posted here after I post. Lau, didn't you notice something like that, too?

Watching the latest on the huge oil spill in San Francisco Bay. Looks like they are holding the entire crew of the Chinese ship - criminal charges they say, but the underground is saying international sabotage. Only 500 miles from my door.

Oh, I can't wait to get a decent amount of snow that doesn't melt as soon as it falls! :) I love the feel of the world when you step outside to white ground and trees, there's frost in the air and there is that hush. It makes me feel like I am the only person for miles and miles. And the crunching of snow underfoot always makes me smile. I'll shush up now before I start writing a poem or singing show tune style.

You must be in the banana belt. I grew up in the golden heart and usually had snow by Sept. (once in July) Or global warming is way worser that I imagined. Course have been gone 30 years

If I post, fine. However, when the thing down the bottom says "Subscribe to this thread"(?), I find that clicking on it just sends me to page one of the thread, with the same thing showing. I then have to click on the same thing again, when it finally puts up the "You are now watching this thread for replies" page.

As to how I come off the "subscribe" list for the page, I've no idea. I really haven't caught myself doing anything stupid, like clicking on the "Stop watching..." or taking the link from the email that unsubscribes. I just feel that WP is doing it. Maybe I'm wrong.

Hi, Everyone! Today on the menu we have banana muffins (with spices), and Apple Harvest Cake. I felt bad for the older fruit in the fridge. I seem to have caught whatever the heck it is Chuck has. What's it called, oh ya, energy! Still wishing I could forget to eat. I just can't seem to get that busy. I also cleaned out the storage room, completely this time  , and arranged to have the Salvation Army come pick up all the stuff that is still good. They are going to love me. I tried to do the yard work, but once again the wind is gusting to 80km/hr. Raking seems a little pointless at the moment.

Back to work. I have a Christmas tree to set up and Bing is crooning on the stereo!

All sorts of subtle and not so subtle problems, bugs and glitches have been creeping into WP lately.
The post history and the "in house" search engine are no longer functional let alone reliable.

I have noticed, too, that I am no longer receiving notifications about the Cafe. When I check on the bottom of the pages, it says, "Stop watching this topic." Shouldn't that mean I am still watching it? But it seems I have to post first. Anyway, hello to everyone.

Maybe a final word... when it says "Stop watching this topic." at the bottom, it does mean that it is sending you reminders. However, one thing I have done in the past is to get a reminder, read it, but not actually come in and read the Cafe. I.e. something crops up to distract me. Then you indeed will not receive any more reminders.
