got sent home from work sick tonight. Really dizzy, almost feels like "bed spins" but I don't drink. It would be kinda cool if I did't feel so crappy. No snotty nose, no cough, just a little congested in the head and dizzy. Gotta be inner ear, but still "FEEL" o.k. Fevers coming on through. At least I'll have stuff to read while I'm sick. :compress: even sitting down I feel like I'm spinning.

Doesn't sound like something you want to spend the evening with while staring at a computer screen. 8O

Sounds like you've never had this particular trouble before... well.. without drinking that is

Hope it clears up for you soon.
Feeling nauseous?
Inner ear huh? Do your ears feel any different? Is your hearing different?
How's your head feel as far as headache?
How's your neck feel... sore and stiff?

And thanks for keeping up the limerick thread despite your condition! :D

little bit of a headache,, neck IS getting sore, may break down and take some Advil. Yeah, the "dizzy" part of it is weirding me out a little.
Gonna go watch the Bob Dylan show on PBS and do a little cardio maybe. It always makes me feel better.
I LOVE the limerick thread. You don't have to thank me for keeping it alive, we all keep it alive, besides its a lot of fun. Thank AnonymousAnonymous for startring it. I think thats who started it.
Its NOT on PBS, its on vh1 or something don't want to deal w/ commericals. Wait for the DVD I guess.

I wouldn't do cardio or any workout considering the symptoms.

You'd be stressing your body more.

Be careful Reika, just pamper yourself tonight! :D

This is so much fun...

So, the single object in my avatar has you stumped. Where's :smug: when you need it!?

In the lower image, the span across the 42 hooked over (inward facing) and pointed pins is about five inches.

I'll put up a higher resolution image later...

PS. You're gonna kill me, when I reveal all.

OK. So I've put the pictures the right way up now.

It's used for clamping or holding something round.... Like a pot lid perhaps for steaming?
I am trying to think of a task or use that is consistent with the design of this contraption.
Can't think of one right now.

Reika, if the headache, sore neck and fever continue, and ESPECIALLY IF YOU DEVELOP A RASH or reddish/purplish spots on your skin, please get yourself to an ER!

Hope it's only a minor bug and nothing serious. :(

All this talk of Limericks got me thinking about bad jokes from Lake Wobegon and Fiona Ritchie, check out the Brick Layer's
Song, I know I posted the full text of it about a hundred or so pages back.
