I do believe that's what the intelligence community calls "backsplash", when you do what seems like a good idea at the time and the result is that you end up not just up the river without a paddle, but that you hear a waterfall with the ambition to become an imminent experience. Well, not exactly a waterfall...

Oh, did I say that out loud?

Gromit, I have some lovely shrubbery that needs some trimming up. I believe you'll find herring in the fridge.

With a hedge trimmer, usually, for that full-bodied sound.

the "disgusting display" is repeated all over again by the same people in the autism thread by duncanbass. What a nice way to greet the newbies? don't you agree. (all sarcasim intended)

I have noticed that a few of the newer members like the 2 doing the damage today are very negative and rude. I always wonder, if you don't like the people on the site or the communication, why would you continue to post on it? And what makes a person so bitter? Mental illness? Their own inadequacies? It's sad, Reika, you are right about that. And now she is banned. Way to make your mark amongst 14,888 other people, huh?

She was pulling this crap with nan the other day, too. Just sit back and watch while she digs her own grave.

It's official she got booted with the red X. Shall we now go on to something more pleasant.....
Got a real charge out of Gromit's video post on organized faiths..... I placed it among my favorites in my You-Tube account.
And I made a new addition to my note-pad file called lau's laws.txt..... I think every one should keep those posted in their
work place.

I predict she'll be RIGHT back w/ a different name. I hope it goes better for her next time around.Everyone deserves a chance to learn to be kind to each other.

She will have to do so from a different IP address. Unfortunately she is not the only one being obnoxious to newcomers.

Whoa! 8O Just read your welcome thread Myrkabah! 8O I am currently "re-undiagnosed" Asperger's at the moment, having been diagnosed Asperger's by an ADD expert, who then reversed his diagnosis 9 months later (when I didn't want to take the medication he wanted me to take). (Not sure how many times that has ever happened. ). I have an appointment to see an autism spectrum expert early next year to satisfy my curiosity now.

Anyhoo, like yourself, I am currently undiagnosed Asperger's, but definitely "ADD; with the signs and characteristics of Asperger's" (whatever the heck that means).

Hope you entered the "Welcome Station" wearing makeshift armor - the "After 'Welcome Station' Trauma and Shock Center" is just down the hall....

....and, oh, by the way, "Welcome to Wrong Planet!"
:D

Hi Lauri! :D

Back, but hausted! (no "ex" to it!! !) Will write more when I've had some rest. I worked my tail off at my dad's place, and my hands have died the "death of a thousand cuts" doing everything from clearing gutters, to chopping wood, to all the 'you name it' chores on my dad's list. He sure is active for an eighty-year-old! Wanted 8 acres of his woods raked so that there'd be less likelihood of a fire (due to the drought). Very hilly deep-woods terrain. Couldn't talk him into just letting the leaves decompose. Stubborn - can you imagine that? (Wonder where he gets that from? ) Traits do go backwards up the family tree, don't they?

Anyhoo, I know I'm not making any sense, whereas I normally make nonsense, so I'll be back when I return to nonsense.

Good to see you! :D

You guys really came out of the woodwork once I started getting slammed. :) I got private messages from a few people assuring me that it was out of the ordinary. It gave me a good reason to stay.
