Can the time machine just take me past this week and then let me off? I'm having some bad karma going on.
I haven't got all the kinks out of it yet. It may deposit you 5 years in advance (in bed with someone you don't know yet, but will marry one year from now.

) - or in the Paleocene amidst a pack of dread arctocyanids (sabertooth weasels)

. While both scenarios may seem better than what you are experiencing this week, just remember - the sabertooth weasels and/or bed partner stranger may all be sick with the flu and throwing up too, so then what have you gained? I say stick with the poison you know. (Or vomit, as it were).

I think I need to file a complaint with the powers that be.

I may be able to help you there! While doing my daily lawn raking just a while ago, I found a deflated balloon that said "You have received an auspicious message from God!" Underneath this was:
http://www.newmessage.org/
This immediately set my mind to whirling. All the other messages I have ever got from God were tied to arrows and shot into trees. Had those all been
fakes? Have I been following the advice of Cupid all these years?!? (The ramifications are astounding). Why had God sent me a
deflated balloon? Had all the lawsuits involving priests and boys left Him too broke to spring for helium? Is there a cryptic meaning in deflated messages? Anyhoo, it said the message was auspicious, so that's good right?
As I raced to my computer with my deflated promise of an auspicious message from God, it dawned on me that God has a website!
Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the website is based in Boulder, Colorado! (It is indeed beautiful, but I didn't know it is heaven! I even visited it once already 25 years ago, so I've already been to heaven!

) Anyhoo, this proved its delivery by God, as how else did it end up in
my backyard?!?
Anyhoo, the point of all this is that if you need to register a complaint with the powers that be, this must be the place to do it:
http://www.newmessage.org/
Good luck. (be forewarned: it could just be Cupid. Maybe even Gromit.)
