Why would we want to fling free thongs at holiday shoppers?

What better way to make our tag-team presidential aspirations known? We were ordained by the spirits!

Tis the season to make money. I mean, you got to get rich for the season so you can go to the surf board show come next summer. I bet the surf is great in Malta. Where is Malta? I want to go anyway, even if they don't have beaches. I heard they had a conference there once, so they must have great hotels. Surf boards and swimming pools, it's just got to work. That's just plain logical and everybody knows intelligence and logic go hand in hand. Unless you're W, then too much intelligence makes you out to be a dunce. Maybe he should go to Malta. I'll just stay here and fling free thongs to the masses.

Hahaha! Good points all. Yeah, if we become president, we gots to get us better or less intel than he gots. 8O I say we hire the members of the ex-cafe. If they don't know it - it don't need to be known. And then some.

At our Malta conference, after a few of The Malta of Cocktails, we can come up with campaign slogans. It could work!

(looks like DeaconBlues cat is ready to join us).

(As Sleepy Dragon points out, the voters will want to know right away if we fling thongs left-footed or right-footed; I say we hedge and say "Phoenician" - should have 'em scratching their heads and buy us some time).

~AHEM~

Didn't your momma ever tell you that carrying on a conversation in a foreign language around others who do not speak it was rude?

Another day in the life of a woman with too many kids.

All 4 kids had eye appointments this morning beginning at 8:30. I got out of bed and discovered Kid2, the strep throat, penicillin allergic child, sitting in the washroom with blood running out his nose. If I was panicky I would have hit the floor. He was white and his lips were blue. I touched his forehead. He was burning up. His temp was 104F. 8O He was also wearing wool socks, flannel pj pants, a long sleeve cotton shirt, and a big wool sweater. He had been coccooned in 2 comforters, a blanket and a plush blanket. He's lucky he didn't have a febrile seizure! Got him under control and got lil' girl ready to go to school. Dropped her off and took the two healthy kids to the eye doctor. We were late. Good news, only one needs new glasses.
Came home, called the doc, got an immediate appt. and ran Kid2 to the doc, who informed us that the throat culture done on Wednesday was negative for strep. He looked at the kid's throat, looked back at the report and mumbled "No bacteria, my ass." Kid2 is now on a new antibiotic and we'll pray he isn't allergic to this one.
I finally broke down and got the heavy duty migraine med the doc wanted me to try. It has taken my migraine away in less than a half hour. That's good. It can also cause heart attacks in people who have no history of heart problems, and can cause the heart valves to become weak after long-term use. And they cost $10.00 per tablet!! 8O My thinking is that if it works, the headache is gone. If it doesn't and I have a heart attack, do dead people have migraines? I doubt it. Headache will be gone either way.
Kid1 needs his new glasses ASAP so we're off to find him some. And somehow I'll try to remember to pick up kid2's girlfriend from work at 4.

  And I told my friend I had the day off!  Going to work sounds a whole lot like a vacation.
