Still lurking... Got a glimmer of sunlight this afternoon, now my Weather alert thingie on the bottom of my screen is flashing again....

Has the weather been stormy or just bleak and dreary?
A Chinook Wind blew in to Southern Alberta last night. We've had winds gusting to 70km/hr all day and a Chinook arch (cloud formation) that has made it gray all day. Sorta makes a person want to stay in the house and read.

(That is an interesting article, I didn't even know all that and I've lived here for 29 years :roll: .)

Glad to know that they are a "warming, snow-eating type". Thought they were adding a chilly blast to your snow scape. 8O :P

Erm... I think everyone in the Northern hemisphere will get to see them. I just went out for a quick peek, but not a lot is showing (and it's freezing cold!). However Mars was staggeringly clear, being almost at zenith (in Gemini) at midnight, here.

It's the first time i've has her shaved, and she's nesrly 8. I'd read research both for and against shaving, but judging from her chirpy behaviour, I think it was a good idea.

How is Birdie's family, SD?
