Hello all! Just got back from annual canteen ladies' night out. Not a bad evening, but awfully loud. And I confess that my eyes kept straying to the corner of the room where a computer sat on a desk, and I wondered, "Hmm, wonder if that thing has an Internet connection...." 
Robyn, Birdie's mum and dad are disappointed but okay. I think they plan to try again soon.
Chuck, we've had to permanently lock shut Stripes's cat door because she kept bringing in wriggling play-toys of the dangerous venomous kind. And now that it's summer, we have to give her a visual inspection at the door, because she is able to miaow for admission with a live critter clenched in her jaws!

Bleak and dreary, bleak and dreary!! That's becoming a common theme. We had a 1 hour sunshine break yesterday and that was it. I can sympathize, Richie.
I have had the past 2 days off because the child I watch was sick. And she is off again today. As soon as I finish with an IPP meeting for Kid3 I have the day to myself again.

1. They live here. You don't.

Remember: Dogs and cats are better than kids because they:
1. Eat less
2. Don't ask for money all the time
3 Are easier to train
4. Normally come when called
5. Never ask to drive the car
6. Don't hang out with drug-using friends
7. Don't smoke or drink
8. Don't have to buy the latest fashions
9. Don't want to wear your clothes
10. Don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and...
11. If they get pregnant, you can sell their children.
I posted that back in June and got a complaint from someone on the selling their children part.
I told her I have 4 kids, she has none, if she did, she'd know why that is funny.

Just wanted to say I loved the "Zoomquilt" also Merle. Mini-Reika also enjoyed it and actually watched it for awhile before switching over to her games. Gonna go add it to my favorites so I can show my older daughter when she comes down. As soon as Lemon said "slightly nightmarish" I had to go check it out.

The little concave part has a slider bar that makes it go faster or slower, back or forth.
