If you don't like what other members write, then you don't have to read it, Michjo.
This has only a flimsical relevence to my post.

WrongPlanet.net is a support site for Autistics, but WP is not prejudiced against NTs , angry or not.
I never said wrongplanet should be prejudiced against NT's or angry NT's. I merely believe a part of the forms where only NT's could enter would be a bad move, i also believe an aspie only section of the website would be just as bad. There are many people with very strange attitudes and beliefs towards the other side, that are mainly based on stereotypes. We should have the oppurtunity to share ideas with said people to educate them as to what it is really like to be autistic or what it is really like to be an NT.

If something offends you and is not agains the rules, then move on to other posts, Michjo. If it is against the rules then PM a moderator and let them take care of it. You don't set the standard for WP.
Again, relevence? I'm struggling to understand where your post came from, because it doesn't really have any bearing on my first post. I perfectly understand that if someone breaks a rule and i do not like it, that i am to tell a moderator. It is then the moderators job to decide wether or not it breaks site rules. If it does not, then it would be best for me to ignore it.
Someone shared an opinion about extra forum sections, and i replied with the opinion that the idea was bad and i stated my reasons for doing so. If the wrongplanet team decide to implement said forum area's then that still has no bearing on my opinion, because it is just that... an opinion.

I've already frequented many websites with "angry ex-wives" or "angry parents", in which basically people with autism are treated as less than human not deserving of the air they breathe. I don't want area's in wrongplanet that cater to such people as wrongplanet is meant to be a supoort site for autists, these people already have their own forums to spread their poison with.
I hope to answer your question as to 'where my answer 'came from', Mitchjo. I was reading the above on its own merits.
The WrongPlanet.net rules state
Quote:
Conduct The following activities are unacceptable on WrongPlanet:
This includes insinuation, ridicule . . . regardless of whether direct or indirect;behavior intended to provoke or belittle other members; anything else that purposely causes conflict with other members.

the insinuation was that the OP was 'spreading their poison' caused the conflict between other members, Mitchjo. Because the member states she is an 'angry NT' and you have known other 'angry NTs on other forums and construe that "angry NTs" want to "spread their poison." This caused a conflict with me and you, because you chose those words with a purpose. Calling 'angry NTs' 'these people' caused a division between the OP and WrongPlanet.net that is only in your opinion, and as WrongPlanet.net does not seek a division between 'these people' and 'those people' letting others know that youropinion does not speak for WrongPlanet.net.
Does that help you with understanding where I am 'coming from', Mitchjo? We have a new member that might not know how we work with people that seek to distance and divide rather than to educate and enlighten. It is gratifying to see you are of the latter and not of the former.

When i refered to "those NT's", "those angry ex-wives" and "those angry parents", i was referring to a very specific groups of NT, which was handled contextually by the writing in bold.

That was not the intentional, although i can see how this can be read from my post. I understand your point of veiw now, and i will try to use more precise language in future.
I apolgise if you took offense Feyhera, it certainly wasn't my intention. There are specific groups of angry people however and i would prefer wrongplanet to not allow them a niché. I think in the interests of understanding, it is a better idea to have all sections of the website open to both NT's and autistic individuals alike.

Hi Michjo
Thanks for the apology. I was pretty sure you weren't pointing your anger at me personally, but it's nice to hear it for sure. I'm just really grateful you took so much time and energy to hash things out with sinboldly. I mean, you could've just clicked off and said, "heck with them!", but you didn't. That was cool of you.
I think you're right about not excluding anyone from any given thread here. The WP mods seem to be a very on-the-job crew, so if anything iffy cropped up, they're more than capable of stepping in and gently but firmly letting people know when they may be crossing other people's boundaries. That's not so on some other forums I've been to and I've experienced some not so nice places where it was a free-for-all or where the mods themselves were almost encouraging meanness between members. This place feels safe and refreshingly open to people's different styles of communicating and that's no small thing -- especially when NTs and aspies are trying to bridge the gap.
See you on the boards!
