She's right litigious... it may be easy to have a guy attracted to you at first, but as soon as he realizes how weird and difficult we are, they run for the exit.

I've had that trouble with girlfriends. I make it worse by being so good at covering up my anxiety - I manage to 'fake' for ages while everything builds up inside, and I wear myself out trying to be an ideal partner, and then eventually I just burn out and either retreat into my shell (which is seen as "rejection") or I have a full-blown breakdown

The shock of the latter is way too much for an NT to handle. It's outwardly so dramatic that I wondered whether I was bi-polar for a while, but I don't think so now. I wish I was better at talking about small problems while they are still small problems.
