Umm'k I got this in my email today and I tried it.

How smart is your right foot? Just try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon............> This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't. It's preprogrammed In your brain!>
1. While sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.>
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand.> your foot will change direction.>
I told you so!! ! And there's nothing you can do about it! Before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.> Send it to your buddies to frustrate them too.

It didn't change direction. It started to a couple of times but I had no trouble keeping the foot going clockwise. I did notice if I drew the 6 backwards it wasn't as likely to get that little tic that wanted to go counter clockwise. So yeah I am frustrated like the letter said, but I don't think it's the way it was meant to happen. Maybe the lesson in this is, be careful who I get for an orthopedic surgeon.

Gosh! You obviously waited until I had to remove "Messier 58" from my custom rank. Now, M59 just isn't so pretty.

Messier 49 doesn't look much better....

I'll have to wait until November of 2009 before I can add this to my sig...

The Spiral galaxy! I think you added that after I visited last night. That is one of my favorites.

Oh, I love the reference to "A Clockwork Orange". . !

Merle

I still love Merle's name. Sins boldly. Is there any other way to sin? If you sin, you must do it boldly and why feel bad? Isn't the guilt only because you were caught or could be caught? So sin boldly!

Don't feel bad, Nana, I had no idea what it was either. For all I know dh has been drinking it and I haven't noticed! I'm not one for beer myself and tend to pay it no mind.

Chuck! How were your holidays? Thank you for the poem and leaving the light. It helped when I finally crawled out. Coffee is ALWAYS appreciated!

My time was creative until my boss and my company loved me so much they made me a Compliance Officer. Yuck. I'd rather stick forks in my eyes than talk to auditors and managers all day long. Now I feel like a zombie. I am plotting the return of the real Zanne. Meanwhile they are all happy that I remember everything (and every reg). It's always the way! When you make NTs happy you lose all your energy! I was cured alright!

Hmmm I think he used all right. I'll have to look that up.

I tried this before and mine just hung up and did nothing. I think it's a wiring issue. I think that is an NT test for Orthopedics!

Nice to meet you, ZanneMarie!

Yes, my old man, poor thing, has a terrible burden to shoulder: he is the only alcohol-drinker in our immediate family. It's a heavy responsibility, but he does his best. *cue violins*

Hi Sleepy. Sorry if I'm yelling. I'm listening to Led Zepplin's Kashmir. They had Led Zepp in another thread and it got me thinking of Kashmir. Now I can't get it out of my head. I think I'll go listen to Super Massive Blackhole. Love Muse. Go check them out on Youtube.

"Supermassive Black Hole" is on the Triple J Hottest 100 album Vol 14 (2006) and is an excellent tune. Also on this compilation: "Black Fingernails, Red Wine", Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy", Lupe Fiasco, Lily Allen, Hilltop Hoods, "Miss Murder" by AFI. Soooo much to like.

Led Zep: "Kashmir" is just the ultimate in ear candy! Love it to bits!
