I'm sure you are fantastic just as you are.
I've read a lot on body image and how women are harsher on themselves and other women. I wonder if this can be true for men, too. I do think the "sexiest man alive" is a joke, as most of those men are not attractive to me. The "swimmer's body," which is muscular but lean is not evolutionary sound, as that type of man would starve much faster or freeze to death than a man with more meat or hair on his bones. I don't have a type, tho, so don't listen to me.
With women, stats have been polled time and time again. And this is asking MEN (not 15 year olds), what body type they prefer. Men who have had relationships, mind you (sorry, virgins). 21 BMI is the preferred. Now what does this mean? REGARDLESS of body type, a man prefers an average to slender frame with some extra curves in all the right places. But every height wears 21 differently. That's why weight is really just a number and you should find clothes that fit. Symmetry and softness are feminine qualities. And I'm not talking about having a relationship; that takes more than physical attraction. I'm saying, line em up, rate em--Mythbusters styyyylle.
YET, here's the fun part. Women, as a whole, wanted to be 5-15 pounds lighter than that 21BMI. Astounding, to me. I can vouch that I've known more than my fair share of women who are always on a diet, going on one, or think they need one. Meanwhile, their guys think they're fine or could afford to gain some.
As for wishing to look a certain way, I can't speak for SwissPagan, but I doubt he was born being able to do 100 of anything. I try a lot harder than jealous girls would think. I have been sniped at that I'm lucky I was born this way, but it's not all genetics. I balance my diet, I walk every morning and run every evening, and I have weight exercises I do. I also teach my bordercollie mix tricks and we adventure together. It's hard for me to sit still, so that helps, but moderation in everything is key.
I can speak, as a woman who has favored men and women (tho never at the same time), I do like a little more weight on my partner. Anytime they complain about their weight, it makes them less attractive, because to me confidence is the most attractive quality.
