Hi folks. Just stopping in to say hi. Tomorrow we're going to a Habitat for Humanity celebrations in Big Pine Key. Ten dollars for a pig roast, turkey roast, beer and musicians from all over the country, not just the Keys. Not a bad deal. I'm secretly hoping Jimmy Carter will be there.

Sounds like you guys are doing well and going strong. Take care all y'all.

Which puts me in mind of the Encyclopedia Britannica article, written by Robert Heinlein, about physicist Paul Dirac:

His students have coined a new unit of measure, the dirac, which is one word per light-year.

Something about seemed familiar then I remembered "Expanded Universe" where R.A. Heinlein wrote much of his memoirs
and some fiction that for some reason didn't sell...
I too tend to be taciturn when I am around people especially strangers.

Why oh why do I sit here on WP and other such places when I have so much to do? What is so fascinating about this place? Why do I socialise here more than at any other time in my life?

Why? Why" Why?

(Robyn throws herself on the floor and hits the ground with her hands and feet, tears streaming down her face) Ouch! That hurt! ...rewind (she buries her head in her arms and wails!)

The cafe set glance over to her. Then Blessed Mom and Nan resume chasing Chuck around and around, and Duncan joins in. Lau sits at his computer with multiple tabs open. Merle and Deacon Blue talk politics. Lemon and Hartz lurk in the murk with Richie.

Smelena sighs, rolls her eyes, and comforts nannrob.

And then it dawns on her. Why would she want to be anywhere else?

But then a firm hand grabs her by the collar and tugs her back to the Real World.

Whose hand is it? Tune in for episode 2 soon.

That sounds like a lot of fun--have lots of it!

Good luck on JC, too ( :P ).

After she saw this design at cafepress.com, H had me order the yard sign so she can put it out front (as well as a ten-pack of buttons, and a hoodie for 'Gana)... :)

EEEWWWWWWWWWW!! !!
Kind of glad Tom Petty's doing the half-time show today. No hip wiggling involved. Or fat half-naked men, either.
