"Let them eat Schokoladenkuchen."
and then they chopped off her head, but not for speaking German, which also may have been a crime around that time, but for muffin blasphemy. Blasphemy it was, for she had gone against the Book and we all know the French take their cooking very seriously. Do not be swayed by cupcakes and that is another story. You see they are religiousless, the poor dears, and... However, before I attempt to exonerate cupcakes around the world, not to be confused by cheesecakes of the world, (I would insert cheesecake and cupcake photos, the REAL ones, but I'm not quiet ready to get banned here, but soon, never fear) and their lack of protocol I must warn you of the English muffin, which is only called muffin, in English. They are really only "sustenance disks and if the English didn't have warm beer, they'd have all starved to death a thousand years ago out of sheer boredom." as often is quoted and so I'll quote it again.

I fear (no I don't, that's a lie) I have polarized the Cafe at this point and will retire, now, to reflect on my mayhem and muffins. Mayhem and muffins do go well together, trust me.

I will take a double helping of the mayhem!

And a muffin!

And I heard talk of virtual caffeine! Makes me wonder if it would be any better than my usual caffeine intake method, the I.V.

Congratulations on your soon to be 1000th post Robyn! :D Beautiful textile patterns Lemon! :D (I liked the first frame too - where it looks like fire). Will have to try Ubuntu some time, when I get a spare several minutes to set it up. What'cha daydreamin' about, Lauri? Good tune! :D I see Postie has returned from space a German-speaking Muffin Bible Thumper, which is to say - unscathed. Welcome back! :D

Something is folding and unfolding here. Whether it's a process I leave up to you.

I'm daydreaming about the warm sun on my back while I plant flowers, pick weeds and trim bushes. I love gardening and the smell of freshly dug earth and cut branches. It's a beautiful, warm sunny day here today. You can smell the snow melting! It may not last but for today it's awesome and I'm letting myself relax and enjoy it.

Hi everyone! Once more I face the day with a coffee in this wonderful place!

Lemon, I have been amazed as I have browsed through your links. To my untutored eyes you are world class.

Welcome back, Postpaleo. creator of mayhem. You have been away too much lately!

Hi Chuck the irrepressible, Blessed who enfolds the Earth and Gromit the laughing one.

Suddenly I see how Chuck and Blessed share the same brain - they connect through the Earth!

ummmmmmmm........... who says we need to have a couple gins to be nuts??? There are more than a few of us here that don't need that as a prerequisite. We're doing a fine job with the nutty side of ourselves with no help at all.
