All you people around the world still on February 29th have been given an extra 24 hours to catch up on everything you are behind on! Time to do your yearly budgets, laundry, paperwork, filing, put your pictures into albums, clean your kitchens, scrub your homes top to bottom, clear the gutters, trim your trees, put air in your tires, write your memoirs, call your family, wash your cats, square everything away, scrub the rust off your railings, and paint the bushes. Then it's time to catch up on all the sleep you have been missing.

Let's go let's go let's go let's go!! ! Get up, you darlings!! ! Get with it!! ! Movemovemove!! !
<Chuck rushes away before the angry mob with torches fully awakens and tracks him down...>

...hadn't learned how to move my face yet. :P  I was very serious back then. I hadn't yet learned how to kid around. The marines were the first place I learned how to do that. Kept getting into trouble for laughing. But it was funny. Especially when they got in your face. You can't help but laugh when they do that.

 I could see that being funny, after I turned into a quivering blob of shaky gelatin!

Time to go get kids from school. I remember a time when kids actually "attended" classes and weren't being given days off and dismissed early constantly.

Now I know I'm Aspie. Or something. Everyone looks the same. Except the guy with the glasses and the black guys. I can only see a few who don't seem like the rest, and some with ears that sticky out more....

Flippers now? Oh, well, then someone throw a bucket of water on that noisey.... uh, no, seals are Navy. Walruses are... an insult. Hmmm... uh, mudskipper???

What the heck are Marines exactly, anyways??? Wouldn't they be almost the same as Marines?? (asks the silly Canadian who doesn't even know if we have Marines here :duh: )

Finding Chuck in the pic....... look for the one with the stickiest outiest ears.

Fourth Marine from the left, third row down from the top.

And I just realized that I screwed up my question about the Marines royally? It was supposed to say, "Aren't the Marines the same as the Navy?"

I read JoanDarris's post and though I am not sure of the context (it looks like a reply to a pm) I got some info about the concept of neuropathy. I will research this and bring the info to the neurologist I am seeing next Friday.

Hi sartresue, I posted on page 799. It may have gotten a bit lost in the ensuing celebration for achieving 800 pages in this thread and the chaos as chuck tries to whip everybody into shape on leap day... but, yeah, if you check out the questions in my post and then have any comments I am appreciative of any and all. ciao.

Hello, Joan Darris. Welcome to the cafe and it's very nice to meet you.

Listen to Chuck, he is extremely intelligent, although he will tell you he isn't.
