I am older person here but I weren't posting for 2 years or so so I wanted to re-introduce myself. My name is Roman. I am 29 years old. I am originally from Russia. I came to USA when I was 14. I did my undergrad at UC Berkeley, I then got my Master's in Minnesota and finally got ph.d. in Michigan. A month and a half ago I moved out to India to do post doc.

Anyway I really hope to get to know some of you guys here.

Hi, former neighbor! Living in Finland, I have visited Russia several times. We Finns originally came from Russia, so we have those Slavic genes, tend to be melancholic and like to drink Vodka.

and the Russians originated from a Norse tribe called the Rus. And the greater part of my genealogy is Norwegian, though i don't know if the slavic genes are shared or not or to what extent
