Hi, I just joined the board. If half of what I've spent hours upon hours reading about AS is true then I definitely have it. I took the Aspie Quiz and came out high likelihood. I first heard about AS a few years ago on a social anxiety board, it seemed like 90% of the people there had it.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. I'm sure I'll post a lot more, I tend to be active on message boards. I've found my element, finally feeling comfortable with that type of social interaction. It's even helped me somewhat IRL conversations. Somewhat. I'm sure I'll always be awkward and uncomfortable socially.

It's sometimes said that feeling at home on a board like this is evidence, prima facie, of abnormality. Welcome, anyway.

Thanks! I've been reading more today, some links from this site and I'm convinced now that my mom is probably AS too. I figured my dad, that was pretty easy. I'm also more and more convinced that I am aspie the more that I read.

I spent so many years wondering what was wrong with me. It's so nice to know that there's nothing 'wrong' with me and that there are plenty of others like me! Just having a (self) diagnosis has been a big burden lifted!
