so here I am sitting with a bottle of smirnoff ice and a letter saying I cant join the army due to aspergers. Being diagnosed with aspergers about 10 years ago and off meds for seven. I've been faced with the crushing reality that am not "normal" ........ for a irishman ;)
I've always been one to deny aspergers using.... excuses to seem a prat rather than abnormal
Any how I hope to say my view on the odd topic here and there so god help ya for me irish wisdom wont. Slàn

note am not a self pity kinda person, rather I feel superior being irish lol kidding

yep! it is difficult to come to terms with. Have had a bad week as it is sinking in. Always knew I was different, outsiderish, now I see myself as others may have seen /see me and it is scarey.
