It is thanks to AVEN that I found this place. A link was posted on one of the boards, so... here I am! 
Throughout mosy of my life I have been a victim of bullying. Both at school, and at home. I could not escape it. About 5 years ago my step-mum found out about AS. I then also read up on it and agreed that, yes, THAT was what it was! There was a name for the troubles I faced!
Then, last May, my then boyfriend found out about asexuality, and reasured me that there truly was nothing 'wrong' with the way I feel! 
I am finally finding myself!
