Hi,
My name is Ross. I am a man living in the North Shore of Massachusetts. I am most likely an undiagnosed Asperberger's. I work as a supervisor in a state institution for mentally ret*d adults. I also have a second job monitoring a study hall room in a two-year college (No I'm not making that up. It sounds like the ultimate bonehead soft job, but actually the students and faculty are very nice). Many of the residents of the state institution are diagnosed with autism. Its a kind of weird fox watching the henhouse kind of irony that someone on the autistic spectrum has been hired to watch over them.
I am 51 years old and my marital status is separated. I have two children, a son 19, who is in college, and a daughter, 15. I have been partly cured of Asperger's symptoms. My son has mild Asperbger's, while my daughter is NT.
My interests are hiking, skiing, the internet, politics, travel, drawing cartoons, reading, and all kinds of cuisine- Quebec food, Brazilian food, Thai food etc. I like a variety of music, especially Classical, Oldies Rock and R&B, Blues, and Irish Music. One of my Aspie traits is some esoteric interests, and one of them is studying foreign languages. I am currently reading through a book on how to speak Papiamento, a language found in the Caribbean, and when I worked the graveyard shift, I taught myself how to speak Turkish.
Peace and Love to all.
