Hi, everyone! I am an NT female married to an AS male. We have been together for 5 years and married for 18 months. We are both 36 years old and he was recently self diagnosed a few weeks ago. I am very new to all of this and decided to join this community to understand my husband better and perhaps offer advice on occassion if I am able. We are both terribly excited to know that there is a reason for why he is the way he is! It amazes me that in just these last few weeks we have already been able to communicate more effectively! I look forward to getting to know you all and learning as much as I can.

Another member from the Empire State...I live near Cooperstown, New York where the Baseball Hall of Fame is located. Hooray for the New York Yankees!

Greeting and welcome. Buffalo's an interesting town, work sometimes takes me out there. Been a while since I've been to the Anchor Bar :(.

Congrats to the Yankees! Even though I live in Texas, I am a bit of a Yankees fan (as well as an Astros fan) because Andy Pettitte lives in my home town.

Hey everyone! Thanks for all of the warm welcomes! Glad to have found this group...now to just convince my hubby to come aboard. I hate to break it to ya though...but I am a die hard Redsox fan! LOL..I know all my friends from home back in Jersey & NYC make fun of me all the time!


@ techstepgenr8tion - I just moved from NJ to Buffalo a few months ago. I recently went to The Anchor Bar because my out of town visitor wanted to try the wings. She said they were good, but I was underwhelmed with the place in general and thought it was WAY to pricey for what they were serving IMO.

Oh well. I still recommend Sam's downtown for Italian or the Pearl Street Brewery for a good micro brew.

Cooperstown is nice. I like the lake. Don't get down there too often, however.
