Hi-
My name is Andrea and I'm a journalism student at Columbia Univ. in New York. I don't have Asperger's. I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me. I'm working on an article about asperger's and dating. I'm hoping to find either a) a couple in New York City, where one member is on the spectrum and the other is NT or b) a young person with Asperger's in New York City who is actively dating.
I know it might seem intrusive, but my goal is really just to understand what dating is like for people on the spectrum. I want to write an in-depth article about one or two individuals, their challenges, and strategies they have come up with to overcome them. I think the story would be a good way of talking about relationships and communication for NTs as well, since so many relationship problems are universal.
Can anyone give me advice about who I might contact? Or is anyone willing to talk to me themselves?

Hey Andrea! Welcome to the board! I don't know anyone who fits those qualifications, but I just wanted to say that I also am a journalism student. Good luck with your article - I look forward to reading it!
