What emotion tends to be strongest in you? For example, some people feel slighted and become sad or angry relatively easily. Some people have a strong fear reaction to specific triggers. For me, disgust is a very strong emotion. I cannot stand the sight of urine, feces, vomit, and other such bodily fluids; I also hate belching and farting. Flushing a toilet is very easy to do; but, if you've ever lived in a dormitory with other guys, you will find the bare basics of hygiene and cleanliness are lost on some people.

Another strong emotion for me is love. When I fall in love, I fall deeply in love with someone. It's like in the poems.

I tend to get angry very easily, especially when I feel helpless and out of control.

Frustration tends to be a strong emotion...which then leads to anger... And anger leads to hate and hate lead to the Dark Si-..Oops.

But yeah, I get frustrated with a lot of things, especially my computer when it's not cooperating as it should be. I also can get frustrated in people, when they don't act I would expect them..Though in most cases I can adapt pretty quickly.

I'm hoping some people will post that a positive emotion—love, happiness, thrill—are their strongest emotion.

My strongest positive emotion is pride... Which isn't always a good thing I guess...

I would choose love...But I can't quantify it, so I don't know...But I know it's a very strong emotion.

These are frequent states of being for me. Feeling bad (mad briefly then sad for longer) is just a click away at any moment, for me. Any little thing can set me off & bring me down. Am most motivated by fear, in terms of action & inaction.

I tell my counselors about this, they can't do anything to help though. I'm grossed out by my own body, other people's bodies, most of the bodily functions, and some of the bodily fluids.

I'd say probably the two emotions (or emotion spectrums) which are the most easily triggered in me are happiness/giddiness and frustration/anger/rage. So I can get excited very easily and angry very easily. The first one is a good thing, the second... not so much.

Sorry--anger is probably mine. I wish it wasn't, but...

I do't think of those as being as strong as rage and panic because when I'm experiencing happiness like that I'm not expending horrible mental enegry to quell it; so it doesn't feel as miserably strong.

Frustration, definitely. I have very few emotions, other than frustration and satisfaction...

Lonliness...although I haven't felt it on my own for a few months....the other day though reading through the Romantic section here I stumbles upon a story that brought back that feeling...hard to describe...maybe like a second-long vacuum in or pounding of the heart.

I'd have to say love is definitely one of them-love and attachment. Sympathy and empathy are very strong for me as well, and also excitement, happiness, and giddiness. On the flip side are frustration, depression, anger, anxiety, and self-loathing. I know that seems like a lot of extremes, and I guess I am a highly emotional person, but a lot of the time I feel plain good ol' contentment :)

The one that I think hits me the strongest is jealousy. I do get affected by others like anger, disgust and exhilaration and it hits hard, but not as hard as jealousy.

Frustration, envy, love (especially friendly love) and excitement. I get excited by the smallest things, and get hysterical and/or hyper over them. Though that happens more when I'm feeling down than when I'm not.

I have a couple of strong emotions. One of them is happiness, when I'm happy I'm really happy and I can be quite giggly to go with it. When I get the giggles (which is quite often compared with other people) there is usually no stopping me. The last time I got the giggles was in actual fact today and that was when I saw an elderly lady skidding across the pavement because her shoes were slippy (she didn't fall over so hey, I know it doesn't make it ok but my sense of humour is a bit warped).

The other strong emotion that I have is resentment. When someone does something to threaten me or hurt me I don't forget it and I don't tend to let them forget it either until they pay for what they have done. If they are sorry however, I usually forgive.
