Download from here, or stream it from the fifth-hope speakers page.

Can't comment on the info just yet... downloading it presently. Of course having root access helps, but there may come a time...

Network Admin, with the advanced knowledge of spyware and exploit mechanics, so I do have to do a lot of blocking, not on a topic basis, but on an issue of network security.

The fifth-hope presentation by Barbwire teaches you how to use your own pc as a proxy host and how to wrap traffic with SSH so flters don't read the address or content

port 53 (dns)

Internal work pc----------------------------------[Extern Home Pc + Linux]----------------------------------[bocked site]

The Internal work pcs makes the req to our obfucation host, which then wraps the traffic in ssh, makes the req to the banned site, and forwards the traffic over our ssh tunnel.
Ssh on the internal end decrypts the traffic,

You can also use this to remotely control your work pc from home via always on ssh tunnels.

Now if someone were smart they would inspect dns traffic, so that where the cat and mouse game of port swapping comes into play.

some web filters panic on traffic on port 53 thats not dns traffic.
