Welcome, rac27!

There is not a 'lack of support' for adults with Autism. There is no support whatsoever, because as the whole world "knows" - kids with Autism are magically cured when they turn 18 and no longer need any support. Once you can no longer be classified as a minor child, you can be fired, bullied, discriminated against or even stoned to death by a howling mob and no one will lift a finger to help, because Autism only affects poor cute little children.

I wish there were a happier way to phrase that, but...there isn't.

WP here is the only support you can expect. I'm thrilled to have that. :D

Hi rac27, I also feel like this too and im only 18... I've been living like this for a very long time since I was born...
I was a NT at the first two weeks of my birth apparently but then I was dropped as a baby, since then, I developed myself having High Functioning Autism or just autism, one of them.
I don't really need support as such.

And also Welcome to Wrongplanet :D
You can make yourself feel welcome here and feel free to express your feelings and share experiences with other AS/HFA and even vistors can see :)
