I'm 33, a mother to 4, 3 of whom are not NT. Right now, I'm parenting as a single mom due to the fact that my spouse is in one of his off again phases. He would also most certainly be classified as on the spectrum, probably my whole family to differing degrees.
This is probably true for the most part for folks here anyway.
I'm trying to make new connections because apart from family I have very few.

really? is that because your family life is hogging up all your time? may i recommend the parenting section in discussion? also, the in-depth adult issue section is very good. you might find what you are looking for in there. sorry to hear about your husband. i think the "off" phase is somewhat common, esp. if he's been overwhelmed... it is tough to deal with, i am sure. actually, with four children, i can't fathom it. :?

anyhoo, welcome! :) search around, there are resources aplenty.

thanks for all the welcomes :)
jamesongerbil: not really, i've kinda been what you might call a "loner" my whole life. I could use the excuse of family but honestly it's not true.
my hubby is consistently overwhelmed/underwhelmed throughout his life, i'm to the point of "ok, whatever" so it's all good. :)
