Hi!

I'm the Mom to a wonderful girl who will be 11 in July. Ally was Dx'd about 2 yrs ago as a HFA. She's in the 5th grade, loves to draw, Pokemon, Neopets and Megaman, and spend time on the computer at Neopets.com.

I'm going to have her join this site as I'm sure she'll make some friends here as she doesn't have but TWO friends from school. She is in a "inclusion" classroom setting and the kids make her feel awful and there is a boy in her class that is constanting taunting her as he is the classroom bully, etc. She is a sweet and very loving girl and I hope you all can help her in many ways that I can't (someone else that she can open up to!)

Thanks for being here for each other!! !

Thanks,
Patty

About the school thing have you ever considered homeschooling her... I would love to tell you it will all change soon but it probably wont, though also make sure she gets involved in something she likes if you go down that road. And tell her to come here though she will probably be near the youngest (even if I am less mature heehee.)

I remember the taunting well. Best she learns how to deal with it now, it'll make her stronger for later. Because later will come, and you can't shield her forever.
