After a prolonged absence, for reasons I can't remember, I decided to check this place out again for reasons that also definitively elude me.

I'm not technically a new member here, but it's been such a long absence that I feel I may as well be - looking around the place everything seems simultaneously the same, yet different. Almost like a practical example of quantum superposition.

...And if this place is anything like how I remember it, I'm sure there'll be plenty of people more than willing to correct me on the finer failings of my metaphor. And then follow up by explaining the grammatical rules that I've broken with this highly tangential introduction.

So, while technically this post has already been all about me, here are some more precise details that you'd normally associate with a introduction/about me post:
I'm a university student,
I like science (unfortunately only enough to realise how little I know, but I've been assured that feeling never leaves...),
I like martial arts (but can never settle at one specific dojo/school),
...and I put a lot of effort into trying to be sociable, failing miserably 9/10 times, but the tenth time almost always makes up for the rest =)

I also have a sneaking suspicion I vastly over-use ellipses. This bothers me, but they seem to match my thought process so perfectly I can never resist.

tl:dr? - Hi!

Two replies and already someone is agreeing with my (apparently unusual) sentiments!

Definitely seems like I'll fit right in here =)

Hi I live in Bristol (well in term time anyway) and also at uni.

But have to say my physics knowledge is rather limited though.

Anyway welcome back to WP, i've also returned, but wasn't exactly a prolific poster here previously either lol

Hello vandire, welcome back, I'm quite new here.

Nice to hear you're also interested in science.

Enjoy your stay on the Wrong Planet!
