Well, I'm returning to the site after a very long period of inactivity. I don't need as much support as I used to, so I'm mostly here to give. I still have my days, though, so it's wonderful to know that there's other people out there that are like me. I remember last time I was here you guys were a huge help and a wonderful support system. I'm hoping that get support, and actually give some back this time around.
A bit about me: My name is Haley. I'm 14 years old and a freshman in high school. I live in Connecticut, with my parents, my dog, and my cat. I love anime and manga, as it's very entertaining to watch, read, and draw. I also, as you can probably tell from my username, love to sing. My voice is my prized possession and my best gift, and singing from my heart is the best feeling in the world to me. I was diagnosed as an Aspie in fall of 2008. I was pretty upset about it at first, mostly because my parents kept it a secret from me for the first month until I found out on my own. However, I had at that time started using the forums on an art website and I met someone who was diagnosed with it as well. He became one of my best friends, and through him, I came to love myself and the "disorder" which was I was born with as well. I use the term "disorder" very loosely and solely as a medical term, as I currently can't think of another word to call it. I think it's more of a good thing than a disorder, though. Along with being an Aspie, I have ADHD, ADD, ODD, and SI dysfunction (this one isn't heard of very much... pretty much I have fine motor issues). I don't mind these things, as I'm pretty high functioning in most of them. I think they make me unique, and wonderful.
So now that you've heard about me, tell me something cool about yourself! I want to get to know the community I'm going to be in.
Hope to have lots of fun, and I look forward to meeting you all.
