What are some of your interests?
I love reading. My other interests are rather narrow and intense.. I like hanging out with my cats, making origami stars, monitoring the water in my aquarium, and researching WWII.
What's your primary goal of life?
I think my goals include not being corrupted or changed for the worse, and building up my book collection.
Do you read alot?
Heck yes. More than I should, or so I'm told.
Or are you more into videos?
Not really. I usually pull out a book when I'm dragged to movie theaters.
How did you find out about autism?
I'm on the spectrum so I discovered it rather early. Probably when I was six or seven.
Is it something you've always known?
I knew there was something separating me from my peers, but I couldn't easily identify it.
Got told by parents?
Nope. Psychological evaluator.
Found it on the internet, and got interested?
I've done considerable internet research, but of course that was post-diagnosis.
Is it going to change your life, now that you know?
It has in some ways.. It hasn't changed my personality. I still do the same things I did before I understood what my diagnosis meant. People who find out from my parents or teachers treat me worse though.
What are you going to do, seek professional help?, try working things out yourself?
My parents are sort of forcing me into social situations in the hopes that I will learn what to do. I'll wait for them to get it out of their systems and perhaps try something else when I move out, like a gluten+casein free diet.
