Hello everyone! I'm Christine Swain aka Kurisutiin_Suwein from Derbyshire, UK. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at 4 1/2. Though I've got through the school, university and college systems pretty well with face-to-face support, I decided it would be a good idea to get some additional support/encouragement from people like me as I attempt to enter the world of work (my employment adviser suggested such a group might also help me find my first romance, but let's try doing one thing at a time 
).
My nearest face-to-face autism spectrum group is two hours away by bus (there are lots of closer ones if you're a parent, but as the previous paragraph implies I'm not). I like being autistic, but the interaction between the way my brain works and the way society does can be interesting to say the least.
I am looking forward to contributing to Wrong Planet and getting to know other people on the autism spectrum.
